| And next time, I think your entry might benefit greatly of having fewer pictures so it doesnt look so crouded, and with bigger pictures as well.
And it's one of the best ones in the competition!

| Thanks for wishing us luck, Serpent, it does seem to work! Speedfreek, I didn't know they would use all of the pictures. I actually asked them to use only some of the detail shots, not all pictures I sent them. And yes, I really struggled with the camera. It's amazing for long distance shots but so shitty in close focus - this is the closest I could get for a sharp picture. Let's see where this gets. Entry 14 is getting a lot of votes in a short time. I refresh every 20 seconds and a new vote is there... | |

| Perhaps that is because his entry is better than both yours and mine...
And I just use my iPhone4, and am really suprised how good pictures it takes.

| I'd say yours and the eldar figure are the best conversions, and my biggest complaint about the eldar one is it's too high elf, not sleek and eldar enough. I'd say you have a decent chance of winning, and should place fairly easily.
I see that a couple space marine figures are getting alot of votes, but most of those marines are more kitbash options, with minimal conversions sadly. It takes alot to convince me of a good marine conversion, though not everyone shares that opinion.

| @ Ork: I think you could, as there is someone who entered a fully Green Stuff sculpted miniature (Entry 15).
@ xzandrate: Thank you. With "the Eldar figure", do you mean Lucky No. 5's Asdrubael Vect? Because I think it does look pretty Dark Eldar. The only thing I would have made differently is the helmet, which does indeed look High Elf-ish.
And while I agree with you in that Space Marines Conversions tend to be quite boring, what do you mean exactly with "most are kitbash, with minimal conversions". Where lies the difference?

| I usually see a conversion as something where a piece is cut or modified, as opposed to something like a headswap or gunswap. | |

| Call me old-school, but my rule for what a conversion was had to involve a saw, drill, and/or a power tool. Kit bashing being called a "conversion" (or even having a term for that matter) seems silly. I've already said this, but that Haemonculus is bad butt. Just voted, hope you win! | |

| Okay, results are out and my Haemonculus made third place! Apparently there was some trouble with people cheating and stuff. A pity the competition couldn't be free of such things.
Anyways, thanks for your help and congratulation to Lucky No.5, whose Asdrubael Vect won first prize.
