Exodites

Not a lot to show but I have made a start.

There will be two regiments of 10 each, equivalent of Guardians/Kabalites

Im working on the idea of Regulars/Iregulars.

the regular troops will have shuriken guns/lasguns, with a heavy weapon and a special weapon.

The irregulars will be hand weapons and pistols, either shuriken pistols or laspistols. One may have a special weapon.

So, we start with...




just a mix up of guardians and 3rd ed kabalites...these are cheap enough

The regulars all have shuriken guns (I haven't found a heavy yet)

The irregulars are armed from the remains of my Dark Elf Corsairs (not a lot of bits left!)



A bit of cutting to arm with shuriken pistols...



Ill add some furry/dragonhide bits when I work on them, the colour scheme will be natural shades with a bit of bright decoration. (Im thinking of using Saami art as inspiration; they are the original elves, after all, and like bright colours)

The one on the left has a marines plasma pistol...it doesn't mesh in well....but the look on his face as he wrestles with it is worthwhile!

Cool, looking good. I always liked the idea of an exodite army so really looking forward to seeing how you get on with this. Rumour has it wood elves are being released this may so some cool bits could be coming your way for this army

Looks good! If you need some spare corsair bits, I have a whole sprue's worth of arms and such. Just let me know.

These armies are ace for conversions and general madness. Looks good so far.

DE CoKs for Jetbikes/ Reavers, LM Terries for Hellions, and that huge LM Carny for an Archon mount perhaps in the future?
