| Thanks Vanq, yes lots to do, I always buy more than I can paint! They are a bit Dark, but not so bad on the table, and they contrast well with the purple of my Kabalite Warriors and vehicles. Heres some updates: First 10 Wyches done: Venom WIP (pilot reminds me of Richard O'Brien) Wych #11 WIP Count Tooten (1,2,3....10 a-ha-ha) (Counts as Sliscus) More soon. | |

| Ugh! Evil pun! From what I can see it looks good, the clothing feels a bit unfinished but it's hard to see on the first 10 wyches... | |

| Saintspirit, if you go to the flickr account from the first post you can zoom in a bit. They aren't super high quality, just good enough to get on the table and get games in! Vanq, there's lots of purple in the army, I've gone through one pot of paint already LOL | |

| Thanks, Mr Tooten is now completed, so I'll take photos tonight and post them up.
Aiming to get another 4 wyches done (less bases) tonight to get me back on track, last week was a slow painting week and I'm not at full health right now (fighting off something) so hoping I don't get any further behind with Astro looming.

| Me like display board. It is going to look great! Not that it doesn't already, of course. Though, maybe there could be some (minor) scenery on it? Like, a skull or two? | |

| Thanks, I do have some buildings to go on the board for photos, but I'll probably keep it plain for now as it matches all my armies (all based the same). Also by the time the whole army is on the board plus objectives there's not too much spare room. There's about another 25 figures and 1 vehicle that need to go on the board for my 1500pt army. | |

| Ebay is a sinful place I tell you, it just forced me to buy more Kabalites, Reavers and bits!
Mostly old school, but the bikes are the ones with Wyches, very cool IMO and the Kabalites will be food for conversions, or used to make vehicle passengers as they look a bit beaten up.

| I assembled 9 Trueborn last night, hoping to have the first painted tonight, so more pictures soon as I've finished a few items that I haven't photographed yet. | |

| I very much like the raider, the portal and how you painted the metal - however, I don't think drybrushing works so good on particularly on wyches. I like the colours you've chosen, but I'd rather see highlighting than drybrushing... It works, but only barely... | |

| Thanks Linton, I've got a few more things finished now, so should have all the infantry done by friday, plus most of the vehicles (probably 2 to do next weekend). @Saintspirit I know what you mean, proper highlighting would be better, but there's a time issue involved here. I need to have 1500pts done by next weekend (leaving me a week to work on my army list presentation for Astro - I have big plans! ) and so I use drybrushing as it's very fast. That said close in photography tends to show up all the flaws that the naked eye doesn't detect (or at least mine don't), and when viewing the army on the table it's hard to tell how it was painted, only that it looks ok - which is the aim for me - I don't ever think I'll be a great painter as I don't have the patience. Something else, the blue I use is somewhat reflective on camera / under certain light sources which makes the drybrushing stand out far more in photos. I used the same blue on some Tau I did and they practically glowed. | |

| That explains a lot. I know far too well about how it is when you're trying to finish an army to a set date. Quite frustrating when you already had an compicated scheme... But I'm sure this will still look very good as a whole. keep it up. | |
