My army list 1850p.

As i said before in my presentation topic, there is my current list: (only for vassal at the moment)

- Riptide with Early warning, Ion, Skyfire, [260]
- 10 Kroots [60]
- 3 xv88 with full missiles, skyfire, Early Warning [270]

- Coteaz [100]
- Inquisitor, servo, 3 servoskull, psi cannon [49]
- 3 acolites [57]
Razorback, Heavy Bolter, Psi ammo
- 3 Acolites [57]
Razorback, Heavy Bolter, Psi ammo
- 3 Servitor with 3 plasma cannon [120]

Totally: 1847 points.

Tau are in the list because they have lot of fire and can destroy enemies flyers. And also, they are a BIG distraction, if they dont kill all tau stuff, they will probably lost.

Inquisition are here for cheap troops and for a lot of more shots. 18 F6 Shots, 3 plasma cannon, psi cannon... And servoskulls are great too for scouts units.

Baron with beast usually do a counter-charge and venom for shoot any enemy we can.

PS: I know my grammar is not very good yet, but i try to do my best!

I am by no means an expert but it strikes me that instead of a riptide (though I love the model) would 3 more xv88 not fit the play style of distraction and target saturation better? at marginally higher cost and with left over points you'd only need to shave 7 points somewhere to fit?

Nice to see the inquisition in there anyway! (I used to play inquisitor 54mm - my first love)

EDIT: PS you're grammar is fine and better than many native speakers I am sure!

The problem is XV88 are heavy support and i can only choose one for allies. More xv88 would be great, but lot of points and i need more scouring units.

Maybe some markerlight to them would be fine, but is innecesary spend more points in Tau.
I think they are perfect right now to saturate and distract the enemy.

I have a question. How do you manage to have 2 different allies?
You should only have 1 ally by main detachement.
Since it is only 1850 you can only have 1 ally either tau or inquisition.

The inquisition doesn't take up the allied detachment slot, its an extra allied force.

"an army may include an Inquisitorial detachment in addition to any other
detachments. Other detachments, such as allied detachments, additional primary
detachments and fortifications can be taken normally"

Where can I find this rule ?

Its noted in the force selection section of the inquisitorial codex so you'd have to buy that.

Lots of the new things released in December also have this rule I think, such as Cypher and a detachment of chaos chosen don't take up an allied slot.

the rules for whether they are battle brothers, allies of convenience or desperate allies still apply to them though
