| Honestly, I am going to get the Medusae, chop off its head and chains; and then convert it into a Lady Malys.
Need to find a way to get boobs on it

Need to find a way to get boobs on it Use a female kabalite warrior torso. The armor looks about the same!

I actually prefer your visored Archontin with some suitably GS-ed brain matter in place of the hairdo. It would also offer more choice of poses. I'm just not enamoured with The Court as a unit, so I won't rush out and get these or the other two members, who cannot be far behind release-wise. I will no doubt get them eventually as collector pieces.

| Im not a fan of the urghul but the medusage looks cool. I would get them if I ever found a reason to run a court. IMO there are much better choices for the points. Maybe if one of the medusaes could take an item that made the ranged attack a small blast or if the urghuls had power weapons or anything that made them worth 15pts. As i see it none of the court does anything that incubi or bloodbrides cant do better. The only unit I could see myself getting slightly excited for is lhamaeans to use against those nid players that run alot of carnys, Why yes all of those 2s are wounds now go cry in the corner | |

| Would it be that hard to use Ghoul or maybe smoothed Bloodletter bodies with the Ur-Ghul skulls spliced on top of Ghoul heads with a bit of green stuff? Seeing as you get an Ur-Ghul skull in every Raider/Ravager and box of Wyches you could make five relatively cheap. | |

| Just mentioned this in the GW/Other News & Rumour section as well, but the optional Ghoul King on the amazing new WFB Terrorgeist / Zombie Dragon would appear to be tailor-made for a much more fierce-looking Ur-ghul.
Slap a DE head of some kind and different weapons/arms on the other optional Zombie King too and he would also fit quite nicely into our army.

| Love the Medusa, but there's something about the ur-ghul's pose that cracks me up. Kind of "'oi lads, let's roll up the sleeves and get to killin'" about it.
Also wondering about their decision to split these over more than one month. It's like they haven't realised themselves all the types in the court are 1+, even the FAQ talks about "IF the court has a lhamaean..."
Still, these are IMO the best DE miniatures since the first wave (ok, barring maybe the scourges, but I found the 2nd wave to be uniformly rather disappointing). Again, too bad they are finecast, kind of afraid how the detail on the medusa is going to stay bubble-free...

| And they are now available for preorder on the GW site. I picked two of each (my first failcast minis), let's see how my luck holds out. P.s. They are dirty expensive, I don't generally complain about it, but even I winced when I saw the total for four minis. | |

| I need that medusae for a conversion, so I will buy it. Mainly the body, it would work great for my Dark Templar. | |

Really anything. A Wrack maybe. The brain finds a host. That host doesn't have to be wearing a robe and have its hands chained up.

| With a bit of work a Vampire Lord might be good.

No sign of Void Raven tho. It's not coming yet and the initial rumours about "problems" with the model were false, as well. It's simply been planned as a later release (and I suspect that it getting made was contingent on how the rest of the range sold, being a big and expensive kit) and is still in the design phase. Hence "likely to be on three sprues" as Jes said at GD USA.

| I used male Wyches as the hosts for my Medusae. That way they fit in with my armies color scheme and I had 12 spare male wyches anyway. | |

DE Warrior torso, (or old style), HE Archer legs... Hey presto, a second Medusae appears! I started mine the other week, I'll probably post photos in my army thread later today. I'm also doing the same with the Ur-ghul head, some ghoul legs, a skeleton torso and a boat load of greenstuff as then I'll have enough figs to build two sets of freaks, one all GW figs, one built/converted by me.
