Dark Eldar Wych Cult VS SW/IG 1500

Decided to have a bash at Battle Chronicler and battle reports, first one, so dont be too harsh

Mission: The Relic (Bottle of superglue, in the middle of the table)
Deployment: Vanguard (We decided on this, because his kitchen table is something like 7"x3,5", so this would be most fair, also this is why the battle chronicler view may be a bit off)
First Turn: Space Wolves
Night Fight: No
Warlord Traits: Insignificant
Drugs: +1Str (No Hypex )


Turn 1:
I steal

Everything moves up, Ravager takes a shot at the Leman Russes, does nothing
Venoms shoot at 1 Grey Hunter squad, they rout and run off the board. First Blood for the Cult


He moves all his stuff up, Land Raider manages to kill a reaver despite 3+ Cover
Leman Russes manage to kill Ravager (it was only in that position to shield the venoms during turn 1)
Grey Hunters only manage 2 shots on Cynthia's venom, costing 1 HP


Turn 2:

I turboboost up all 4 venoms, having nothing to shoot at, right into his face
Both razorwings come on, shoot at the Leman Russes, Do nothing (He did something fancy with shooting + Smoke launchers, then made 3 5+ Covers....)
Reavers bladevaned the Long Fangs, did nothing

He shuffles around a bit, Terminators + Rune Priest pop out of LR.
5 Reavers die to 20 Guardsmen going First Rank Fire, Second Rank Fire, they pass morale.
Cassandra's Venom explodes from shots by the Russes, 4 wyches die, Pass LD.
HQ Venom wrecked by Land Raider.
Cynthia's Venom wrecked by Terminators
He fails the charge on the wyches

Turn 3:

Reavers move up, explode the Land Raider
Razorwings move up, blow up all the Imperial Guard, as well as 2 Long Fangs.
Charlotte's Venom moves up, kills a few more guardsmen(2 loose guardmen hold, other squad routs and runs off the board)
Charlotte throws a haywire grenade at the Russes, Glance.
Charges, 5 Hits, 5 Glances, Bye bye
Cassandra sacrifices herself to soak terminator overwatch, other wyches charge and kill 4 Wolf Guard(Mostly Lelith), Rune Priest in challenge with Hekatrix Cynthia.


Long Fangs miss all shots at the reavers
2 hero guardsmen put 4 wounds on my reavers, fail my saves, Gary dies (Instant field promotion happened right here for these guardsmen).
Last Grey Hunters explode last venom, losing 1 GH in the explosion (lol)
Last Terminators die to Lelith(Some crazy good 5's here), Runepriest loses a wound in the Challenge.

Turn 4:

Razorwings move off the board, Charlotte grabs the relic
Nothing happens in the challenge.


Remaining stuff moves up, shoots at the relic wyches, killing 1
Nothing happens in Challenge.

Turn 5:
Night Falls

Batplanes come back on, blast everything to tiny bits (Celebratory fireball images!).
Charlotte charges the remaining Grey hunters, killing them all thourgh shooting and an agoniser. (You go girl!)
Nothing happens in the Challenge.


At this point, only the Rune Priest is left, so we decide to just roll out the challenge, I have 2 Rerolls due to also having the last Wych Squad to support nearby(we agreed on this, game was practically over)
Bottom of turn 6, Hekatrix dies to 2 failed invulnerables, reroll, again failed   
The huge bottle of superglue is ours!
The runepriest is sedated and taken to Commoragh for torturing

Post-Game thoughts:
His shooting got botched up due to the wall at his deployment zone, and I got extremely lucky that my gambit of boosting the wyches in there, paid off.

Was pretty fun to write this report, just sharing the pain
