The 10 k in 10 - CHALLENGE - What have we done?

My friend Pete and I are challenging each other to paint 10k points of 40k in 10 months (or so) at the end we are to have a massive apocalypse game to cemebrate with fully painted minis!

This will be the log of all my efforts to reach this goal. So, stay tuned as this journey si gonna be a long one.

Wow good luck with that mammoth effort. I applaud you and your buddy in this and hope you keep up the painting  mojo , I can barely paint one figure a month   

I paint in between 1k and 2500 pts a year, I didn't give myself a date to finish my 40k of pure dark eldar :p.

I can admire a fully painted army, doesn't matter what level it's painted at. I enjoy your battlereports, without you I might have never started liking Urien + grots.

Yeah, the old raider is a good one. Especially for the BloodBrides.

Newest UPDATE:

The only time I would do 10K is if I could reenact a fluff battle with my coven attacking a Tau planet after the Tau had been crippled by a Tyranid invasion.

Will yo be using an airbrush to get many models done at once, or do them by hand?

Also, I love that old Raider!

I will be doing them by hand... but I have had offers from the local community to get it basecoated for me with an airbrish.
