Eldrad died but that doesn't seem to have stopped him. Captain Tycho (BA) is also dead. Probably some more but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

IG Lord Solar Macharius - Died for convenience in edition change.

There's a few more for the list. I was trying to limit responses to characters with released GW models.

@Erebus - thanks for the pic, I was just thinking maybe I should post it too. With a solidly skilled painter the model is...well, still not good, but nowhere near as bad as it gets when painted pervy.

I'm also still a huge fan of a DE character who weaponized her arms - that's just a cool concept and not something they really went into in the new dex.

I knew that! But I don't buy it. There is nothing on the unpainted miniature to indicate the presence of fabric, such as a seam, a zipper, studs, or an edge, and how is that catsuit supposed to work around her boobs?

So many questions. Where is her waist? What the hell is she doing? How does she type or open jars? Why is she doing jazz hands? Why is she wearing a stripperkini on the outside? Do legs bend that way?

I stopped in the local store yesterday and was talking to the guy running it and he says he has up on his official GW 'puter in the shop listings for supposedly 3 codices.. a 'STD DE core list', a Coven book and a WYCHE Book.....
I have known this guy on/off for a number of years and he plays DEldar also...... he has also mentioned a listing for the Void raven on his computer.....he did also mention that yes stuff can add or drop off but those are things he has seen in the internal GW product system...
He mentioned that there very well may be some stuff that they are not officially naming and have code words for them.... mentioned stuff in the past that were called stuff like cup cake, orange soda,etc... names for new things that were used so no searches would return anything...

I guess we shall see what we can see..............maybe they plant stuff to throw off their employees in the stores because they know that we pressure them for info....

I feel kind of conflicted about the idea of three seperate books..
Guess there's nothing to do right now but sit back and wait to see what they will do.
I was kind of bummed by the rumour that Incubi will remain Finecast.

People can barely confirm when the newest release is, much less if it will be DE - no one knows anything factual about what's inside.

My question was aiming at developments of other codices that have been released lately i.e. GK, Orks, IG. Intention was to make an assumption on our Dex based on what happened there... of course nobody knows yet, just trying to adjust my expectations Neutral

Some of those lost characters, some gained sculpts, some gained both characters and sculpts.
I don't think there is evidence enough to make any clear prediction.

I disagree, here's what you do.

Assume any unit or character without a unit has been taken out of the codex, even Vect.
Assume we get three books and the supplements are essential if you want to run anything other than a kabal.
Assume we get a psyker or a way to cast psychic powers.
Assume rules are barely changed except a few cost hikes here and there.
Assume no new models.

Once you're prepared for that, there's no way Games Workshop can live up to your low expectations. And if for some reason they do, you prepared for it.
