Raider rush or Webway Assault

First of all sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere I did try to do a search but to no avail, I`m just starting anew to DE and was wondering what was better to peoples experiance loading all your troops in raiders etc and just rushing to the objectives.

Or is it more viable to run ur HQ straight up the field and popping the WWP so the army can rush out and get into the opponents face as soon as??

Both can do well but you're likely to take different units in each. I run with an all transport army and it works very well for me. One thing to take note of though is the "rushing to objectives". Generally you might not want to do this, our greatest advantage is our speed, allowing us to redeploy quickly. If you go with a WWP army then yes you are more likely to park on the objectives with something. However, if using Raiders/Venoms I would encourage you to use that speed for the whole game and then zoom around picking up objectives towards the end of the game, if you haven't killed everything already that is.

Both are competitive.
Major tourney event?
Raider Rush - every time.

I do the WWP, but that's because I run the pain engines and beasts and want them to be close fast. So it's more dependant on your army selection than a yay or nay over all.

For a team battle though, if your opponent is running even one drop pod, your WWP will be more effective. People have a habit of worrying about the drop pod first.
