According to Natfka pre orders are being released the 20th of this month and we can access it starting the 27th in a 2 week release period. This sounds great although i still have yet to confirm the prices and supplements we'll be getting hopefully soon tho.

Modded, Sept. 15 - Two simultaneous threads on the new codex was a bit confusing, so I have closed one in favour of this newer, shorter thread.
Please keep the discussion of the codex and models here, and remember that there is also a wishlisting thread in the DE Discussion section:
PLEASE NOTE - we are not showing unofficial, pre-release pics here out of respect for our own rules about IP infringement, GW's, and the service provider who hosts this forum. Below are the general links to the two sites being quoted most frequently for leaks of new information and pics.

40k radio saying it alongside the many other rumors means it's more likely that it is coming out but there is still a chance they are wrong

I'd just like to add into the mix that I was speaking to my local retailer today.
He has heard NOTHING about a Dark Eldar release yet.
He has had plenty about Spacehulk, and was told about Nagash and The End Times with plenty of advance warning. he even knew about Space Wolves and Grey Knights in decent time before release too.
But he has been told NOTHING about Dark Eldar.

This week's WD hints at DE with a 'wrack your brains' comment for next week. Add the 'souls' line to this and just maybe.

I am holding all the special characters tight. If all else fails, I will tear apart their pages from the old codex and glue them on the new one.

Heh really I am hoping to see Baron go. Another blow for the council. Kheradruakh - good riddance. Malys - No great loss, Duke... I would be really sorry to see him go only if we will get Tantalus with racks option. :-) Lelith is OK.

Malys and Duke need models. They're two of our three pimps in the fluff.

I would much rather have models for bike archon, skyboard archon/succubus, lhamaeans as a possible unit upgrade (thus no need for Duke) and working Mandrakes.
Hellions need a boost or a price drop first... having them as troops is the last concern. :-D

Hmm... Hellions are my favorite model. Although if I ever use them they'd need a price drop or maybe a +1 to their WS and I.... and A

i think hellions are fine with drogs and +1S+1A hellglaives, just to expensive 16 ppm for ap - hits is ridiculous, banshees are 15 points with power swords... and other extras, only the swords cost 15 points on other modells.
