1850 All my transports list

So, I was hanging out in the lounge, discussing the models we owned, and I mentioned that I owned 6 raiders and 12 venoms. I made the comment that I should try to cram them all in an 1850 list, and someone in the channel agreed. So here it is:

Realspace Raiders Detachment:
1x Archon w/Blaster in a dual cannon venom
2x 5 Kabalite Warriors w/Blaster in a raider w/dark lance.
6x dual cannon venoms

Combined Arms Detachment:
1x Archon w/Blaster in a dual cannon venom
4x 5 Kabalite Warriors w/Blaster in a raider w/dark lance
2x 5 Kabalite Trueborn w/ 4 blasters each in dual cannon venoms
2x Dual Cannon Venoms

Works out to be 6 raiders and 12 venoms. 22 Darklight shots, 144 Splinter cannon shots. 8 Obsec units. It's not a TON of darklight, but what is there is protected by lots of target saturation and hull points.

Thoughts? Think it could be competitive?

22 is probably enough as long as it hits well early. But you lose them so fast as Dark Eldar that it never feels like enough which is why I slowly moved away from spamming that.

However it is a very fun experiment and i think it would do just fine.

I'm normally very careful about depending on them for this reason also. However, the way this list is set up, I feel like they'd be peeling away smaller numbers of shots each round than they would in other situations, where you have vehicles like ravagers with 3 dark lances. In this list, if they want to eliminate the same 3 dark lances, they have to knock out 3 raiders.

But I agree. It's all going to boil down to how long I can keep those darklight weapons around against mech lists. Against MC and horde lists though, they be F'ed.

That would take points away from trying to cram ALL the transports in

I think this is one of those lists that would make the person on the other side of the table soil themselves a little because of the target saturation and mistakes made from decision fatigue during the shooting phase. Tyranid players would absolutely not want to face this list down.

Gotta say, I tip my hat to anyone with the case space available to bring 12(!) Venoms and that many Raiders to the LFGS or tournament!

Yeah, I would have put the ravagers in if I had the points left.

Yeah, 18 vehicles, even at AV10, would be a chore to chew through. I'm considering altering this list slightly to try to get in my ravagers, but I don't know if I can do it in such a way that would make it worth it.

Assume you'd remove CAD for 1500 and move across Kab Raider squads into RSR detachment to make it work? Now...if only I had enough Venoms!

So, having thought about it, I could technically drop the two archons, taking a lhamaean in each of their places. That would leave me enough points for a triple lance ravager, but I don't know if it's really worth it.

Negatives to doing so:
1- "That guy" status for taking lhamaeans without an archon.
2- Losing 2 BS7 Blaster shots for 3 BS4 Lance shots - Debatably worse, depending on value of range.
3- Loss of warlord trait.

Positives:
1- More hull points.
2- Higher AV.
3- Longer range.
4- Definitely won't give your opponent slay the warlord.

What are your thoughts guys?

You think 3 shots at BS4 is better than 2 shots at BS7?

This one is really tough... gut feeling says to take the ravager, but cold logic says archons
I am worried though that that archon will either get blasted out of his venom or get focussed for Sla The Warlord, but then again, one explodes result will gut your ravager aswell
