1500 Community Comp list idea

Hey guys,

Playing in a comped event at the end of this month, using the Community Comp system - http://www.communitycomp.org/ - so I've put together an idea for testing.

4 Grotesques, Abberation w/ Agoniser in a Raider, Sails, Dis

Haemie, Webway Portal (Warlord)(joins 7 Grotesque unit)
10 Warriors in Raider, Splinter Racks, Dis

5 Scourge, 4 Haywire Blasters
2 Talos, 2 Haywire Blasters, 2 Chain Flails
1 Cronos, Spirit Probe

4 comp credits spent


I feel I have a good mix of resiliency, haywire shooting, poisoned shooting and speed (Grot Raider and Webway Grots)
So its a 3 round one dayer, 2 missions will be Eternal War (D3+2 and Kill Points) and the 3rd a Maelstrom (3 cards every turn). I have enjoyed playing will all these units in recent games so I'm keen to see how they all function as an army. First couple of games will be this coming weekend.

It's a cool tournament system, never heard of it before. It's a pity, that system is so cruel to DE, som much credit costs for lances (why, they are craaaap!), however craftworlders don't pay for their bright lances.
It's nice that the Imperial Knight's formations are banned, but I think you will have a very bad day, If you meet even one Knight.

Why not the second haemy as warlord? You would get rerolls to brb book tables. Is there some trait in covens book that is so good to pass the reroll?

Derp. Ive misunderstood the Covens Haemie wording and got all excited and was going to reroll lol. Will change to CAD Haemie with Webway

I would change the Chain Flails to Ichor Injectors. Great for taking out Wraith Knights.

You can have up to 4 lances without spending comp credits. Even though you already have plenty AT with haywires, I would change the disintegrator from the grot raider. Or a gunboat one.

But I know this is arguable.

Yeah it is, I've been flipping that coin in my head all week lol. The Lances have the added ability of shooting into T6+ where as the Dissies clear out Marines pretty quick
