Greetings fellow archons, this is my list based around null deployment. I could use some pro's/cons and if you think it's viable, i'm basically going to go out and by the remaing stuff i need (i have most of it, just want be totally sure)

Null Deployment:
DE
Formation: Skalpen Squadron
2x (5x Wracks in Venoms, Splinter Cannons, Ossefactor) 260 pts
Eldar in Allied Detachment
Autarch (in skyrunner) 85 pts
5x Windriders 85 pts

Realspace Raider Detachment:
HQ:
Succubus (Agoniser, Archite Glaive, WWP, Haywire Grenades) 160 pts (goes with incubi)

Elites:
4x Incubi in venom (Splinter Cannons) 145 pts

Troops:
2x (4x Kabalite Warrios, 1x Kabalite Warrior with Blaster, in Venom /w Splinter Cannons) 240 pts

Fast Attack:
3x Razorwing Jetfighter (2x DL) 420 pts
5 Scourges (1 Sybarite, 4 HW) 130 pts
Venom (with Splinter Canons) 65 pts

(Rest of) Eldar Allies:
Elites:
5 Fire Dragons (1 Exarch with flamer) 120 pts (goes in venom)

Fast Attack:
Crimson Hunter (2 BL) 140 pts


As you can see, it's flyer heavy and still has a lot of pressure in form of poison shots and some eldar shootiness. The Fire dragons are thrown in for a little more anti-mech and the rest is just basically built around the idea of null deployment with skalpel squadron. Basically want to be able to control when my flyers come out (+ the rest) and focus down "areas" of the enemy line before the can assemble any type of strength and pick the rest off.

Also i hate reavers (it's a personal thing). Any ideas? Or can this work?

Hi,

Unfortunately like the initial comments I saw on your Facebook post there is a lot I don't like in this list.  After the devastation your three razorwings do with their missiles when they come on I can see your list running out of steam very soon.

Firstly, apart from the +1 reserves I see the Autarch and the Windriders doing little. If you're going to use the Autarch I would give him some wargear to make him better at his task, eg. a laser lance, a fusion gun and a banshee mask.

If you are going to use windriders without heavy weapons, go for MSU units, so i would try to fit in 2 units of 6, or just use one unit with 3 heavy weapons for 4 pts cheaper than your unit of 5.

Overall I think you need to have a think to whether you really need the Eldar allies, as at the moment is the 4th flyer (Crimson Hunter) really needed, the Fire Dragons could be better taken as an Aspect Host and the Windriders aren't adding much firepower.  If you have giving up board presense completely on turn 1 you really need to hit like a sledgehammer when you come on turn 2.  You could have 2 units of Warp Spiders to compliment the Fire Dragons instead of the Autarch, Windriders and Crimson Hunter (and the aspects warriors would all be BS5 in the Aspect Host).

On the Dark Eldar side, I'd lose one of the Succubus weapons, she's expensive enough.  Next coming on 2nd she could turbo her transport to be 30" onto the board so does she really need a WWP (leave that for if she is going to alpha strike with fire dragons to take out a key target, so need to be within 6" of the target).

Incubi are very specialised, and I think you need more resilience (well as much as DE can get) and I would prefer grots in a raider, they can kill numerous low armour save enemy while the succusbus can help against well armoured enemy.

Overall I don't think you need the 4th flyer, and I would save points to upgrade the Incubi to Grots, and if I go completely nuts on cutting what I think is unnecessary upgrades I would try to fit in both the Autarch and the Aspect Host.

Dark Eldar Real Space Raider Detachment
Succubus (Glaive) - 90 [Joins Grots]
3 Grotesques in Raider - 160
5 Warriors in Venom with 2 Splinter Cannons - 105
5 Warriors in Venom with 2 Splinter Cannons - 105
3 Razorwing Jetfighters (2 Lances each) - 420
5 Scourges with 4 Haywire Blasters (no sybarite) - 120
Raider (I prefer the raider for the Fire Dragons for the extra hull point if nothing else) - 55

Total: 1751 pts - I'm one point over, so you can lose something small, maybe make one of the Razorwing Jetfighters have Disintegrator Cannons rather than Dark Lances.

I think my list has more punch with the Aspect Host moving the Dragons up to BS5 and joined by the Autarch for another fusion shot, and losing many upgrades to get 2 units of BS5 Warp Spiders.

UPDATE: Lol, just read the title and noticed I have another 99 points to play with Smile

I'd get a 4th Grotesque, and then get a Venom with 2 Splinter Cannons from the last free fast attack slot, making the list 1851 points, so again one of the Razorwings would have to downgrade their lances to disintegrator cannons to get you back to 1846 pts.
