Otherwise I think this list is pretty solid but just like for any suggestions for changes and general comments etc.

Looks great but there is one thing ... I'm pretty sure the battalion detachment requires a minimum of two HQ choices so yer gonna have to find points for a second hq in both of those detachments a shadow seer and another archon would be what I would do.

Thanks. Just not sure how the list holds up in competitive play. Conscript/horror spam will not be easy to deal with (but that's the norm lol). I should have anti armour covered.

Thinking about dropping the Scourges to put upgrades on other units but I feel the ability to drop down anywhere with 15 poison shots isn't too bad for 70 points.

After playing some more games now with eternal war missions (as the Warhammer World Tournament will be using those missions over Maelstrom) I've decided to go with Ynnari. Here is the list I have so far:

Plan is to soul burst a scourge squad to wipe a tank/monster at distance while covering the Fragons for a turn 2 assault. Hemlock flies into the enemy to take heat off from the Razorwings (who are just amazing in all my games). I'd also use the Shadow Spectres to pop heavy infantry or run in super close for super flamey soulburst death (as a unit will pump out 6d6 S5 -1AP attacks).

Should have most of the bases covered for a TAC list but comments and criticisms are all very welcomed.

Looks good.  just deep strike with the scourges so that they dont get 1st turn charged.

Keep an eye out for opportunities to get close to characters with the hemlock and remember those flight stands can block enemies disembarking from a dead transport.  Nothing like killing an HQ and termie squad because they cant exit the dead land raider. With no firing points it doesnt matter where you face as long as you arent going to be forced off the board next turn.

Yeah I was thinking about keeping them in reserve if I don't get the first turn as they're still quite effective even at -1 to hit.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I've used my planes to snipe characters before but it does seem better with the Hemlock. Hopefully I can pull of that tactic with 3 planes and 1 of my tanks. A lot of people do seem to have forgotten about not being able to disembark means the occupants inside die automatically.

How have you been liking the list since swapping out the Ravagers?

I hadn't looked at Fire Dragons before - those seem like a pretty safe bet to pop SOMETHING the turn they shoot to trigger SfD.

Are you still liking the Hemlock over the Voidraven?

What would you replace the Shadow Spectres with in a tourney that doesnt allow Forgeworld?

I haven't got a chance to play with the new list yet but hopefully I can play it this Friday.

I'm hoping the Ravagers and Scourges balance out but it remains to be seen. I might deploy the Scourges on the board if going second next to a Kabablite Warrior squad/Raider in the open to trigger SFD.

Pretty much with the Fragons. Turn 1 their transport zooms forward with -1 to hit then turn 2 they get guided and the target doomed, should be able to pop the tank and the occupants or another unit nearby.

I think the Hemlock is the perfect nusciance unit and kinda as survivable as the Voidraven with the spirit stones. It will also be at -2 to hit and doesn't care about degrading stats. If only dark scythes were assault 3 instead of d3 ;(

For the Shadow Spectres I'm not sure as that flamer firing option is amazing. I'd guess probably Warp Spiders though.

So managed to get a game in yesterday against a very competitive Tau army (4 commanders, 2 y'vaarnas, 2 drone and fireblade in devilfish combo) with Big Guns Never Tire.

Shadow Spectres were the unit of the match due to their crazy flamers. Kabalites were great with the raider acting as a SFD bait and the two squads performing quite the distraction and helping me to win the game. The 2 scourges units were also really good, after they shot my opponent focused all his firepower on them. Being able to fire 4-8 dark lances in your opponents turn is just crazy.

Planes did  really well, my opponent ignored them in order to try and wipe out my infantry and paid the price. Razorwings are still brutal for all the firepower they pump out. Wraithfighter was a great distraction, zooming into my opponent's face and blowing stuff up with heavy d-scythes and smite.

All in all I won via wipeout on turn 4. My opponent conceded as he had only 4 drones left and a fireblade vs my 3 planes and Y'vraine. I'd say SFD was so much better than PFP just for all the out-of-turn activations. Able to shoot/assault/etc after my opponent has killed one of my own units is just too good but SFD also suits my playstyle more.
