Collection next steps

Hi,

I’m new to dark Eldar and been in a year long secret Santa in which a group of us have bought present for each other at each birthday and 2 Xmas, plus when we’ve met up at warhammer world. The rules were that it had to start with a start collecting box and the open season. As I haven’t been able to influence my mates decisions I’ve got a bit of a mish mash of units and I’m unsure which direction to take things from here. I currently have,

2 x 10 man Wyches
1x venom
3x reavers
1 x succubuus
All above are painted same Wyches cult.

1 x 10 man kabalite warriors splinter rifles
1x archon
1x raider
1x talos
1 x razorwing jet fighter.

Any help would be useful including load outs for the lower list.

Well, the best things is start to draft an army list that you would like to play and start from there. You can find many samples of lists here on the forum. Also don’t be scared of starting playing with 500/1000 points, as this will give you an idea of what you like to play.

General suggestions may be buying two other talos (so you can form a unit of three or play three of them as separate unit in a spearhead detachment), 2/3 Ravagers, a haemonculus, 3 more reavers (so you can do a better use of your three) and a jolly HQ (Drazhar or Yvraine)... but as said, it is much on you, you may decide that you don’t like to play coven for example.

Ok so I was thinking of something Like this for a 500 point list. Is drahzar and the new in uncubi only available in the blood of the Phoenix box?

Will I be “that guy” with the fighter at 500 points?

I think this gives a balanced list with some shooting and some melee units.

Very important advice: never play Kabalites outside of venoms/raider, they are wasted otherwise.
At 500 points you may consider playing a patrol instead of a battalion.

Ok so I’ve made a slight update, dropped the razorwing for the venom and raider which I have models for.

Should allow the KW to move within transports. How am I best moving my archon as I can’t fit him in a transport? The KW are going to miss out on his buff.
