Zenos Tournament List

Well, normally I only do beer&pretzel games. Drinking a beer, or three, while playing a relaxed game.
...
On second thought, that hasn't changed. I still do only that. I'm just not the competitive kind of guy.
But!!
One, or two things have changed. A buddy of mine wants to play and drink with me.
He is a very competitive player. Actually, I think he is just unable to build a relaxed list.
Lucky me...
Well, I managed to get my hands on some neat .stl data. Tantalus, Ravager, Raider and others.
No originals, of couse, but close enough.

So, it looks like I can't use my usual builds and am in need of a more tournament like list.
I armed myself with some 10 years old irish whiskey and began thinking (and drinking) about it.

I came up with this:

Any ideas?

I thought I missed something, but then a wild Tantalus appears! What is inside of that thing?
Maybe you are a little heavy on vehicles here, my feeling would skip the archon (and possibly one of the haemonculi) and one ravager for more warriors to build a super- gunboat and complement that with a few mandrakes and go more msu.
Tell us how the Taloi performed, Skari is set on them being good and lately you hear similar opinions!

Hmm, my first thought was: 3 units of Kabalites with 3 Venoms.
Every Venom carries 5 Elves with 1 Splintercannon and 1 Shredder.
That would leave 15 Warriors with 3 Dark Lances and 3 Blasters for the Tantalus.
But that is such an 'all or nothing' loadout.

I wanted the Archon for his inbuilt 'Vect'. Devious Mastermind is the new term, I think.

All in all, the list is just a first try. The match is early February, so I still got some time.
And I do need it. The Tantalus isnt even printed yet. But I found someone who could.

I would give up the Raider, one Ravager and the Chronos for a Venom, 10 spikey and 5 stealthy elves.
It still is a nice list. 21 Dark Lances, 2 twinlinked Heat Lances and 3 Blasters should be a pain for all Vehicles.
9 Splintercannons and 3 Shredder, along with the Wracks can do away some infantry. The 2 Taloi can butcher a little bit melee,
while the Mandrakes can sneak around. Urien can revive some Wracks, when needed, the 'normal' Haemi generates Pain Tokens
and my Archon will 'Vect' a often used stratagem and might even return a Pain Token used on him and his unit.
And I got the Pulse Disintegrator. 12 shots, S10, AP-2, 2D.

Personally, I really would've liked to add a Court of the Archon. These dudes so add style.
