Cult of Lechery

And here is the Wych Cult that accompanies the Tacit Tongue


The Cult of Lechery, consisting almost entirely of females, is one of the rising cults of Commorragh. The Cult was founded shortly after the mon-keigh of the Salamander tribe invaded Comorragh. Formed from the ashes of several Cults that took devastating losses, Lechery’s Wyches where the fittest survivors. The Wyches noticed that the species of humans possess a strong immune system and decided to explore their planets for their natural poisons. In doing so, they found a species of Arachnid that excretes a particularly virulent poison, mates in an intriguing way, and is colored in glossy black and red. The hourglass symbol on the back of the Black Widow has since become featured throughout the Cult’s symbolism, banners and runes. The Cult’s Syrens and Hekatri also found beautiful plants that contain deadly toxins and use them as the basis for the poisons in their weapons. These poisonous flowers where given to the Haemonculi of the Tacit Tongue Kabal, who refer to themselves as The Silence. The Silence isolated the poisonous compounds and infused them into the Cult’s blades and solidified them for use in their firearms. The Wych leaders took the mon-keigh names of these plants as their own, and decorate themselves with perfumes and oils made from these flowers‘ essence. The Cult will also mix mild amounts of the toxins into their combat drugs in order to experience psychotropic halucinations and numbing highs. In the aftermath of a battle with the Cult of Lechery, it is common for the sweet smell of perfumes to overwhelm the rotting corpses of the dead and festering that are left behind.

As their namesake implies they focus on many forms of sexual degradation and misconduct. Their Coliseum hosts round the clock events that are part gladiatorial battle, part cabaret. This has made the Cult extremely popular among the most decadent of Archons and Haemonculi. The reason behind the cult’s female population is not gender discrimination, but the mating rituals of the Wyches. Their method of procreating is much like that of their "mascot" the Black Widow, in that the female kills the male post-intercourse. The surviving male wyches of the Cult of Lechery are virgins and are treated as masochistic slaves because of the Cult’s focus around sexual exploitation.

Unlike most Wych Cults, Lechery is ruled over by a council of 4 Syrens who refer to themselves as the Tetrahedron. When called to oversee a larger raid one of the four will temporarily be voted into the role of Succubus only to relinquish the title upon completion of the mission.

The Cult of Lechery owe The Silence a debt of gratitude and will often accompany the Kabal of the Tacit Tongue into battle. Quall D’Ren, the Kabal’s Archon, will often approach the Tetrahedron personally for accompaniment on real space raids because the Cult’s debauchery on the battlefield brings him great delight. Often Quall will notice a kabalite gazing lustfully at these battlefield goddesses. Quall will taunt with a smirk, “Look, but don’t touch.” Often this is not enough to subdue their urges. Quall and other Archons have been known to pay a high premium in order to watch the decadent/horrific outcome of these 'snuff' shows held at the Widow's Kiss Coliseum.
