| Hello everyone I was on a little hiatus playing around with my old deathwing list, sad to say I have recently sold it and have made dark elder my primary force for 6th edition. I run coven heavy armies, and came up with this semi competitive list. Please critique it for me.
Urien rakarth
Archon w/soul trap/husk blade/shadow field/pgl/
2x4 grotesques w/liquifier gun/aberration/flesh gauntlet/raider/master haemonculus/
5x5 Kalabite warriors w/blaster/venom/sc/
2 Talos w/tl liquifier gun/
Ravager w/night shield/
I realize I am completely missing anti air so I may change the ravager out for a void raven bomber. Thank you guys for the help. I also realize I don't have the point totals there but I'm sure this list is around 1840 pts. | |

| I personally would rather drop the 2nd talos for a void raven if you do that, but that is just me.
Overall not bad, although your T1 AT is short. You might want to switch a few venoms to raiders for extra lances T1 | |

| I was thinking the same thing myself I'm glad someone else pointed that out. I was thinking about using msu of wracks to unlock venoms for anti infantry, but my army is lacking in anti tank so kalabites seemed like the logical choice. | |

| The Taloses are useless here, they are too slow. DE's HS are Ravagers or Voidravens.
And give the Raiders ffs at least, the firemagnets they are your Grotesques won't arrive anywhere. Oh, and they are very slow too. | |

| I have ran taloii before and yes they are very slow, but they are effective at running opponents off of objectives. Most armies tend to avoid them like the plague. I do think I need more firepower so I am considering dropping a Talos and the ravager for 2 void ravens. | |

| It is easy to, but he is good deterrent for objectives. I plan to keep 1. I have had great success with the Talos and all other coven units | |

| Well, the objectives on your side of the camp are basically already yours.
And the others for slow units like the Taloses are approachless. | |
