I wouldn't say my current list is poor, it's made of choices based on fluff, units I like and a sprinkling of competitiveness. What I would like to do is take a list that would be more competitive for random pick up games and tournaments. Out go the Wych special weapons, Razorwing and the Baron and his boys; in come some more obvious choices while keeping the fluffy spine. Let me know what you think.

I like it.

On a purely competitive level I think you're lacking in alpha strike anti-mech shooting. Trueblasters are awesome but often have a bit of difficulty edging into range except when the enemy is ballsy. Same thing with Wych 1st turn assault - possible but sometimes difficult.

I think you could benefit from some of the Venoms become Raiders to help pepper your opponent early with lance fire and hopefully dull his ability to hurt you back.

Other than that, no issues.

Lose 1 wych from each squad, us pts to get under 1750, and to get a 4th TB into the Dukes squad. And if it works out right get # 3 and 4 Carbines.

@Tordeck You're trading assault anti-infantry that has options vs. vehicles for shooting anti-infantry that does not have options vs. vehicles. I'm not sure I see the real value gain there.

The reasoning is that 7 wychs are almost as effective as 8 and it dosen't change how many causalities he has to take from shooting before taking a leadership test.

Also he needs to drop at least 1 to get below pt level and maybe its just me but I like squads to be symmetrical.
