| http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440270a&prodId=prod2160196a And for a mere $11K USD...... No way I'll sit down and pound out the math, but I'm willing to guess that there is no discount per the running trend. May favorite part: "We will also contact you personally to arrange a delivery time that is convenient for you.."A free appointment with a psychiatrist is included to have your head examined as well. | |

| Well, oddly, enough, I have a friend who did a whole chapter for his son (Who is evidently too lazy)
he used an airbrush. | |

| I have three companies.... Although I cant mechanise all of it, at a push I think I could mech a company 60 in rhinos, 20 (or 30) in pods, 16 in a raider and 24 in Ravens. | |

| I think my favorite bit is "Every Warhammer 40,000 hobbyist dreams of owning a complete Chapter of Space Marines"
I don't think that has ever been a dream of mine.

| You have to read between the lines. It should say: "Every Warhammer 40,000 hobbyist - Spoiler:
we care about
dreams of owning a complete Chapter of Space Marines"

| I just ran into this in GWs site. This would be the first One-Click collection worth clicking and buying, since this one would actually save time clicking through everything and adding it to the cart. | |

Assuming it has exactly what you would have chosen! Has anyone been bored enough to see if it saves you any money? Hang on, who am I kidding?!

| I... I... What the... Okay, excuse me, but I now want GW to publish how many of these have been/ever will be sold. I seriously want some sort of live camera somewhere so you could see a GW-employer freaking out that he has to start mailing these, and another camera on a gamer freaking out when he gets one of these home. To me it is ok if you slowly amass a collection but this is a bit too much! EDIT: My favourite part: "This collection contains plastic, resin and metal miniatures. These kits comes supplied unpainted and require assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue, Citadel Super Glue and Citadel Paints... and you're going to need lots!" | |

| Was talking to the GW guy in Birmingham today and his personal incentive for selling it was "I've been told that if I get somebody to buy it I get a week off."
It comes with signed orignal artwork and a signed codex, so even if you don't save models on the moeny you've got some great collectors items there.

| Some people have crunched the numbers, and *ignoring the freebies* it looks like the set has a savings ranging from 3-15% or so depending on who did the maths. | |

That is actually a great idea! A gaming group could band together to buy one of these and share the models. Everything could be pooled together, and I doubt there would be very much fighting in who gets what. Im still not buying it though...
