| I just ordered my first flyer, a Razorwing I heard on the forum that since 7th we can shoot all 4 missiles in the same turn for a nice alpha strike. Do all the 4 missiles need to target the same unit? | |

| Alphastriking with missiles is overkill in most situations. A pair in one turn, the rest in another should be more effective. | |

| I run a couple of Razorwings, and I find that if I try to save missiles I end up being shot down before I can fire the second pair. In my game last night I dropped four Necrotoxin missiles each on two squads of Long Fangs and shut down my opponent's anti-air in one shooting phase. The Razorwings were then free to roam around shooting stuff up with impunity. | |

| ok thank you for the answer.
If I have to place the blast over a model in a unit, do all the missiles fired need to be placed on the same model or may i put them on another model of the same unit?

| No, as each missile is a separate weapon. You place all 4 Blast Markers wherever you want in the unit, though you'll usually find there's on spot that hits the most models and put all 4 there.
If you're firing the SAME type of missile, resolve hits for all of them before any To Wound rolls are made.
If you're firing DIFFERENT types of missiles, resolve hits for one type of missile, make To Wound rolls, remove any models and then go on to the next type of missile.
It's just like multiple weapons within a squad.

Yes, and it does provide more options for equipping them. If you expect to blow your missiles in one salvo then you may well want the dark lances to go looking for tanks afterwards. If you plan on two turns of aiming missiles at infantry, disintegrators are probably where its at. Having said that I find mine works best with dissies and dropping all missiles as soon as possible.
