Succubus FAQ'd to allow Glaive + Second CCW

And bumped the glaive's points up to 20

The archite glaive was already 20pts.

I agree that I was hoping for a bit more, but will settle for making the stock succubus legal.

But... why kit a Succubus with both Agoniser and Glaive?

So that she has a chance of taking T7/T8 creatures or those with 2+ armour.

+1 from the Glaive +1 for Furious Charge puts her at S5. vs T7/T8 she needs 6s to wound. AP3 does the trick vs all MCs.

At S5 vs a terminator, she's wounding on 3s with the glaive + FC so that's when you would really want to use the Glaive.

It's expensive but it gives you options. Especially for tournaments when you have to build a 1 size fits all list.

She has grenades for shooting.

Ap3 covers tha majority of MC... Bar riptides, some nids and a couple of random possible in game situations

I feel like saying something along the lines of "i told you so" ^.~

I'll be honest, the model's neat but I don't ever see myself really running this combo, if there are MCs to deal with I'm going to be zapping them with splinter weapons. Glaive all the way!

was hoping to see fleshbane added to those orbs of despair with this FAQ though. That thing is truly a peculiar piece of wargear...

And yeah, glaive is the superior choice as we have so many ways to deal with MCs that are far better than an agoniser.

it was FAQ's for one reason only,  they released a brand new model and realised no one would buy it because it  because of the weapon restrictions.

so the FAQ brings the rules in line with the model

With any luck this won't be the only FAQ released. You'll noticed it's actually got no questions in it, it's just a hasty errata. The codex and supplement haven't been out long enough for them to figure out everything they need to answer.

Well. They have, but clearly GW are in no hurry.
