Glue not lasting

Hey guys,

Glue seems to only last one session. I open it, use it, and then a couple weeks later when I go back to use it, its lost its stickiness. I've tried the GW glue and a hobby glue from a hobby store. Both have the same problem.

So I have 3 bottles more then half full sitting on my desk but all are unusable now.

Any thoughts? Bad luck and got a defective?

Super glue or plastic glue?

How large are you making the opening?
Are you cleaning the spout after use?
How are you storing them?
Can you post pictures?

Use Army Painter glue - no problem with it.

Plastic glue cant lose stickiness - its literally a disolver of plastic, it works with difusion of 2 plastic surfaces and melting them together.

Mybe you are trying something like gluing metal part to plastic part?

I've tried both plastic and hobby glue.

Stored just in the house. Never cleaned sprout, never touched opening.

I will try army painter glue next time.

How is it stored in the house? I keep mine in a drawer where sunlight won't touch it much.

Just sits on the table in my office. I never put away my stuff. So it could be exposed to sunlight at noon. I hope that's it.

i use GW plastic glue thick, and though after a while (a long while) it gets thicker and more difficult to use, but still glues the same.
