Best way to dissolve glue?

I have some scenery that I want to dismantle and reconfigure. What products has anyone used if any to take models apart.

Depends on the type and amount of glue used.

If super glue a soak in simple green and simple gentle pressure works quite well as long as they didn't go goofy on the amount.

If plastic glue...well, that's a permanent bond, so bust out the saw and hobby knife.

I've had luck with sticking models with super glue in the freezer for several hours/overnight. The glue gets brittle when frozen and breaks easilly.

As for plastic glue, yeah, you're basically out of luck if it was anything worth a darn. Sometimes the GW glue doesn't set right and can be broken apart pretty easily as it doesn't properly work but generally you're out of luck if it did.

Ive used methylated spirits to get rid of glue, I've used Turpentine as well. One of them works well on Metal (Turps) while the other (Methyl) works better for plastic. I use them to strip paint and the glue melts too. Only super glue and PVA glue though. Acetone (Nail polish remover) is the best paint stripper I've ever used, only for metal models though, it melts everything else brilliantly, you could try applying that to key joints and areas, but I'd be super careful with it.
