Since the plastic Haemonculus I had bought has snapped in places before I even got him out of the spure, I'm currently working on a replacement model, featuring:
* female Scourge torso and legs
* spare Cronos tentacle for a tail and spine
* spare Cronos antennae in the "wing slots"
* four, possibly even six arms, some with magnetized weapons
* overall look inspired by a Hallucigenia
Now, the part I have trouble with is her head. I want her to wear a faceless helmet, but one more detailed than the Wracks', which will represent the Helm of Spite. I have already decided to use a Spiritseer helmet. The question remaining is; which one?
Option #1: Finecast Spiritseer's helmet
Pro: I already have one, and it looks more alien-tech-y, if you know what I mean.
Contra: I'll need to file the crest off. Also, it's resin.
Option #2: Hemlock pilot's helmet
Pro: It's plastic and not shaped too craftworldly.
Contra: I'll have to buy a Hemlock/Crimson Hunter first to get this bit, and it looks maybe a little too plain.
Most of all though, I'd like to hear your oppinions on which would look better.
