Helm of spite hilarity

Played a game against Grey Knights last night and just wanted to give a +1 to the helm of spite :p

I don't think it is generally worth the points and there are better relics but against a psyker heavy army like GK it actually worked out well.

I put one in my pretty much stock succubus. It caused two perils each taking a wound and one wiping a psychic power from his librarians memory. It also helped me deny that new electrical storm chain lightning power which had gone off on three dice.

Great psychological weapon.

I think the AW bubble is actually pretty great but the price tag is a bit prohibitive on such a situational item. This is mitigated somewhat by the new psychic powers and general prevalence of psykers in the competitive scene.

Of course if you know your opponent that's all moot.

Situational, yes indeed, but it shines when the spotlights on.

I've literally never had it work.

Quote is a button on the top right of each post.

Used it a bit in my bigger lists, but the biggest benefit was making some Zoanthropes run away from the bearer like the little weeny bugs they are - straight into my other guns.

I really want to try this item with a mask of secrets or AoM near by next time I can get a game against the local grey knights.
