| The Grotesques look a bit off, I think you could make better ones out of Chaos Spawn and greenstuff. So I might be buying some Chaos Spawn. The Wracks look really nice, i'm going to pick up a box just to see how easy it would be to convert them. Apparently the new finecast range is quite easy to cut, so it shouldn't be too bad to add some variation into a unit. The Haemonculi is alright, its not as creepy as I was expecting, but still good. Fighter looks sweet, and for £25 (compared to the Ravager's £30) it is superb.

| I think Chaos Spawn and extra bits from the Talos/Cronos will be killer. With some practice, those back humps shouldn't be too difficult to sculpt. | |

| I brought a box of Skeleton Horsemen to convert into Ushabti (long story) so I was planning on using the necks that i'm not using for the external spine. If I pick up a Talos kit for a Talos conversion, I could use the Cronos parts to make them. Maybe next payday. | |

Right, I had forgotten about that. It's 5 euros instead of 2, but it's still a really, really expensive Grotesque.

| Someone needs to do a diorama where Urien is sitting in front of a stage watching a chorus-line of high-kicking Grotesques. | |

| Well, thanks for that... Now I have a picture in my head of grotesques with top hats and rods doing tap-dances... | |

| Just noticed telling line on the GW page: available in stores on June 18th ( except the Grotesque, which will only be available through the web store). I exspect this means it'll be a splash release ie shops will get a once only limited amount before you have to order direct from GW. Sucks for me as I'd have to spend 75€ before I'd get 'free' shipping. | |

| Doubt that's what it means. It says on the advance orders page that it will be released on the 18th of June. Probably means that it will be available in stores from the 18th of June and onwards. Though, it is of course possible that the store won't have it in store when you come to buy it, of course, but I don't think it is a limited buying in the stores. | |

| I assumed it was just not going to be in stores because nobody wants to shell out $30 CDN for a single model for a unit of 3-10. | |

The Dark Muses demand photographic satisfaction. I'll try to get pictures up some time in the next fortnight.

| I had to share something I put up on Dakka. I hadn't seen anyone do this yet and just had to do it. | |

| Have to admit that the Wracks are growing on me, just annoying that they are £20 for 5 and the Haemonculus in £10 just for a single dude. Luckily I have most of what I want for my Dark Eldar as things are starting to really get priced too high for me to justify. | |

| Grotesques are $30.00 each in Canada, fully 50% more than the US despite a higher dollar.
The GW site also says, "Due to high demand, each Citadel Finecast product is limited to 3 per customer."
Wankers.
I do like the Wracks, better than any conversion I could do, but I still won't be purchasing any of them for a veeeeeery long time.

| I really like the Wracks, and the Hexrifle is really sick looking. To bad my army requires more Venoms and Razorwings. | |

| No Grotes here either.
Got myslf 20 wracks though. Unfortunately 1 pack contained some broken and bubble addled models so i had to swap them out.
Anyone else buying them watch out for bubbles in the chin area and on spiky bits. That aside, the quality was pretty good.
The models look brilliant in the flesh and i am actually tempted to get some more.
I'm going to try a coven army of
4 haemos (2 webway portals) 20 wracks mounted 4 grotes mounted 10 scourges (I reckon they must owe the Haems a bob or two) 3 talos

| I picked up a razorwing and heamy yesterday which were very nice. Lucky there was a few heamys to choose from as a couple had dodgy casts : nothing major but enough that I wouldn't have paid for them. I remember reading a snippet that the grotesques would be direct only, but would be in store for a limited time. I guess the instore bit was wrong. Since GW, in their wisdom, moved free shipping to minium of 75€ I've ordered exactly nothing, and that isn't likely to change. Thankfully I consider my coven a side side project. | |
