A Masque Enters the Fray

Hi all. So I've decided I want some Harlequins. I have pretty much all the DE I need for now so I've just added a detachment to what I have and made some tweaks. Looking for feedback on the meshing.

The idea: So I want to capitalise on the -4Ld from the Armour of Misery and Mask of Secrets so the Death Jesters will be set up to take those -6Ld shots as soon as the Raider streaks up the board, hoping to knock a few pieces out of position. TGL is on the Raider for the same reason.

The Troupes will be heading up the board ASAP to engage anything possible, forcing errors and supporting the HQ/Grots. Ideally I can use them to charge some units already set fleeing by the Jesters. These guys will also attempt to masque (ha-ha) the approach of the Solitaire, soaking up overwatch for him.

Voidweavers and Scourges will follow up on targets pegged by Ravagers to finish them off (or do all the work, most likely). If there are no vehicles about, the Voidweavers & Scourges will play cover and objective denial.

Kabalite Splinter Boats do what they do.

Razorwing takes out any infantry concentrations with that delicious missile barrage and then plinks away at enemy vehicles.


So... feedback? I'm looking to get this list very clear cut before I make any purchases.

I quite like it. Looks solid, and you have a plan which counts for a lot.
Shadowseer with the Grots is genius and should prove quite effective.
Having the heroes path feels like a good fit as well.

Why run the heroes formation? You loose out on the solitaire especially with the ability to run and charge. You also essentially hand the enemy a great opportunity for first blood in the DJ or SS in this formation
