| The new models we have are fantastic, but I'm curious to know, who is planning on using any of the old range in their new Kabals?
I am using the old Urien Rakarth model as an Ancient Haemonculus, the old Lelith Hesperax as a Hekatrix. I am repainting some of my old grotesques as wracks, but what is left of their uniforms is painted in my old Kabal's colors. My Reavers will be a mixed group of old and new bikes, with a new rider on all of them. I may include some old warrior helmets in my Trueborn squad(s), I haven't quite made up my mind on that yet.
I would keep my old Archon, but he was painted by my brother who is a much better painter! I wanted at least one model in my army to look good. Now that I have some skills myself, I will be painting up a new one.

| I still use old warriors when I need extra troops.
I still use old Hellions (not bought new ones yet)
I still use old reavers (not bought new ones yet)
I will use my 2 old talos as talos
I still use my old Ravager (not bought new ones yet)
I still use old Lileth as a Succubus
I still use old Incubi (not bought new ones yet)
I've not used my old raider much (got 2 new ones now)
I sometimes use my old mandrakes as Wracks.

| As I just started DE I cannot, but I believe I wouldn't use the old if I had some - I think they look hideous. Though the haemonculi is still ok, I suppose. | |

| I'm in the same boat as Saintspirit being a recent convert with none of the old range in my possession, although I will be trying to get my hand's on an old Lelieth & Drazhar of eBay, as I think that they were the pinnacle of the old range and still look great against the new range. (Maybe some slaves as well!)
I don’t know why GW is still showing the old Haemonculus models on their website even though it says their no longer available... just take them down.

| I've got so many projects going on right now that updating to the new stuff has been put on hold. So for now I am only running the old stuff. Even converted a venom out of a raider by shorting it up a bit and made the Baron out of an Incubi on a Hellboard | |

| I liked the old Reavers and mixed various pieces of them with the new ones, in addition to keeping some pure old and new ones. They look great. The old Raiders/Ravagers still look OK and get used, as well.
I love the old Incubi and stocked up on cheap 2nd-hand ones before the new codex arrived, absolutely no plans to get the new ones, especially after the Finecast price upgrade. I actually stocked up on several different old units when people were getting rid of them after the new generation was finally confirmed. I did this to save some money and will continue using them to that end for a considerable time in the future.
I also have the old Drazhar - will never replace him - and Urien and Co. I have the new Lelith but will get an old one at some point.
And I have some old Warriors that I use for numbers, plus some Wyches I converted from old Warriors.

| I'll still be using the old models, I'm one of those weirdos who liked most of the old range. I love the old warriors and Raiders so my old army is simply growing with the new edition. I'm planning on expanding in sections, using the old models as the Archon's closer warriors and then the new models will be converted for the various other characters in the army. (Atm I'm working on my Sliscus conversion and his warband). | |

| As for the moment I use all of my old models since I haven't had the time to pick up any of the new ones. I'm stuck in the middle of choosing paint scheme and army list. But once I've done that I'll start to exchange them one by one. The only models I consider to keep is my squad of reavers, I will have to strip them down and give them an makeover with lots of GS and new bitz. | |

This. I've wanted to play DE for years, but I was waiting for the new models as the old ones are just... not that good.

| Definitely do some mix and match and doing so adds to the variety of the army. The only new bit is the head and she fits in fine alongside other members of the squad. Having looked at them last night the old grotesques will work in the midst of some converted wracks and I'm a big advocate of mixing and matching reaver bikes as they look great together. I'll be using old raiders and an old ravager as well spruced up with new parts. | |

| I regularly use one of the old Haemonculi, atleast untill they release the finecast one. I was also using the old Warriors till I finished painting my new ones and have some old Wytches in my Wytch Squads (namely the shardnets). I might also use my old Incubi, altho I have a box of the new ones aswell. Not goign to use ym old Raiders and Ravagers tho, hated those things. They never stay on their flying stands properly. | |

Thats what I do at the moment. My 2 basic warriors are my older models. And any trueborn are the newer kabalite warriors. Once painted up and with head switches like above (I even used craftworld Eldar helmets too on my originals) They dont look too bad. It was some of the goofy helmets that were mostly to blame for the crap models.

| I got rid of my original Dark Eldar years ago so all I have now are the new range, not that I am complaining as the new stuff is amazing. | |

| I have over 3k points of the old DE, plus bitz. Seeing how you used some of the old bitz, Keravin, I feel modivated to do kind of the same. | |

| Yes. I only own 3 of the new Raider chassis vehicles, and all but one of my Reavers are from the old range

| I have to, I've built up a strong core of the retro DE and it shows if anything my commitment to them. The finished army will probably be 60-40 old to new.
That said, some of the old models are useless now (Haemo with non-explody stinger) so I've done some converting, basing Vect on the classic Archon and converting a hexrifle as it might have looked in 3rd edition.

| Well I converted alot my older warriors (craftworld bodies, corsair/DE/craftworld heads, splinter guns) and I still use most of them, I don't use my old wyches (again a conversion) as right now I only need 10, and the new models are pure sexy. Old raider get used when I need more then the 6 new one I own | |

| All of my warriors are the old sort, planning to use the new ones for Trueborn. My Wyches are a mix of old and new, 2 squads of each, if I'm running blood brides, then I use the old models for those. Raiders are 50% split old and new, keep the table interesting I think! | |

| There is no way in Hell that I'd use those models. Not only did I only really start DE in March, but it was the new aesthetic that hooked me, not the old one. | |

| i think the older figures were of thier time when they were released marines still held thier bolters like a tea tray!!!!! the nices range was probably the eldar aspect warriors. i still love warp spiders!!!!!!!!! gary morley and co were given a design brief which they deliever a complete range which suprisingly lasted 12 years . the codex lasted the same time with only a 4th ed update and in the hands of a skilled general could take on most armies and destroy them in 3 turns!!!!!!!!!!!! | |

| I still use my old army. I've spent too much money and time painting it, over the years, to just throw it away now.
This doesn't mean I don't like the new range.
Like some of you I'll be using the new warriors as True Born. I'll buy th new talos and use it as a chronos. I don't need a new Talos as I've three old ones.
So yes, my army will become a mix of old and new models.
