1750p Dark Eldar n Eldar alies

Started on my dark eldar agian, here is one of my first attempts of a list! nice and shooty!

Realspace raider:

Archon w/ Blaster, WWP

2x 5xwarrios w/ blaster, venom 2xSC

Raider w/ NS
2x Razorwing w/ 2xDL 4x Shatterfield missile (i like the S7 for tank hunting, and infantry ofc)
2x Razorwing w/ 2xDL, 2x Shatterfield, 2x monoscythe
6x Reavers w/ 2xCC 2xBlaster
2x Venom w/ 2xSC
1x Venom

3x Ravager w/ 3xDL, NS

Eldar allied:
Autarch w/ jetbike, Banshee mask, laser lance
7x Fire Dragons (could take some points from here)
6x Fire Dragons
3x Windriders
2x 3xWindriders w/ 3x shuriken cannon

for the plan: Archon goes with the fire dragons and deepstrike with in the raider. (i am having some problems with knights, therefore this massive anti tank unit)
Autarch joins the reavers for a nice mutitool unit.
Ravagers stay back, venoms and windriders skim around and take objectives. the Eldar bikes has taken shruiken cannons to pop rhinos etc.

Lists looks pretty good so far. I would consider a few changes, but only a few.

I love the St7 7 missiles, but find the extra points doesn't usually make them worth the points unfortunately. I think removing the missiles would be a good choice. Those points could get you Shuriken cannons or Scatter lasers on your bikes to really help with Light armour like Rhino's/Trukks etc. That way you aren't wasting a Ravager's lances on a light target. Another good, but by no means necessary idea would be to try and get a Crimson hunter Exarch in your army. Either changing one fighter out or dropping 1 Ravager and the saved points on non upgraded missiles. This will give you great AA and good AT as well as Elite hunting and special weapon hunting due to 5+ precision.

I also really like Splinter Cannons on the razorwings as it makes them much better v.s FMCs. But they are by no means necessary.

May I ask why the two fast Venoms? Just for AI? Have you considered maybe adding a Wave Serpent for higher strength shooting that would help with tons light/medium AT? Just Ideas is all.
I am also thinking that maybe instead on the two fast attacks Venoms that you could easily take 1 more unit of guardian bikes with Cannons/Scatter that will help even more with AI and give you more light AT as well as give you another objective secured unit.


I want to say some combat would be nice, but do not know where a good place to get the points would be? I guess you have a little bit with the Autarch/Reavers which is nice. Grots would be nice as well, but need a baby sitter.


Anyways I do like your list and think it has a lot of potential. It has a lot of speed (because spaces elves are usually fast). Lots of AT and pretty good AI. All round pretty good. Try the list a few times and see how you feel about it. I'd like to hear how it works out for you. I have a list a few posts down from yours that if fairly similar, but different enough to look unique when comparing the two side by side. SCP yeeman also has a similar list with more combat than our armies. So maybe you could get a few different ideas from our posts?

I would have tested the list first, but i had to change to fill the gap of anti light-armor. i am properly meeting few rhinos next fight. This might lead me to a point where I will have too many Lance weapons (well you can never have enough)

If I could I would play a 100% DE army, but due to some problems with knights I looked to the eldar codex, for the fire dragons and for Autarch to improve reserves. The bikes were more or less just to fill up the troop slot.

Took a look at your list, but that is way too much “normal” Eldar to my taste. Nice list though!
I am getting some test on the list this week and will come back with changes!

Yeah my army is more of an Eldar with Dark Eldar list. After my next up coming tournament I will fallow the more current ITC rules which is 3 detachments. Which will give me dark eldar primary, either a grotesquery or corps thief formation with some eldar. Stoked for that!
