| I'm excited. When you're done, do you plan on doing commissions? ;-P What material do you use, how do you build it? | |

What material do you use, how do you build it? I actually am doing commissions! Starting in October, and I already have 5-6 months of projects lined up haha. It's going to be pretty sweet! This project is being made with Craft foam, Worbla, and EVA foam. Also, update for shoulder armor! Did a test fit with a little duct tape before final attachments =P. This piece is what is beginning to tie together the whole look, and to make it very obvious she's an Archon. Next up.... the crown >=)

| Shoulder pads, as important to Dark Eldar as any other. Because spikes!
Awesome stuff, I really like the decoration on that.

KamuiCosplay is my biggest influence by far. She did an amazing job of explaining the basics, and how to get into the hobby in general. Everything else is just learning as I went, but seriously she is so good haha. www.kamuicosplay.com/ https://www.youtube.com/user/Mogrymillian What's even more incredible, is some of her more recent projects were done in a week, or two weeks sometimes. Absolutely blows my mind.

| We have now hit one of the most exciting stages of Cosplay: Painting. I will admit, my painting skills are only mediocre at best. Therefore, I've passed that on to my girlfriend, and my friend Cameron. Cameron has brushed up this piece of my thigh armor using an Airbrush, and hilariously enough, GW and Forgeworld paints. 40K paint for 40K Cosplay. Awwww yeaaahhh. In person, the depth effect from the red glaze looks soooo crazy. I still really like it in these photos here! Picture 4 is a before and after using the techniques. ALSO! Because it was so many layers, the overspray was inevitable, but will be bringing the silver right back soon enough! We will have matching schemes to really catch peoples' eyes when we're walking together. And to also let them know why our armor is red, if they step too close to my Archon =P. | |

| Moved to Project Logs
I am in utter awe of this. I would very much like a suit of Incubus warplate.
