| While scrounging the forum, I found out that we woefuly lack a "funny tactics that can screw with your opponent" where we could share some of the tricks we picked up while playing with our DE.
To not make this an empty thread, here is my Art: RamDer - due to Tank Shock wording (moving up to maximum speed) and Shock Prow allowing us to Ram/Tank Shock, a Raider with Aethersail can declare to Ram a for example, a Rhino 34 inches away, while tank shocking half the board. While not exactly the absolutely best tactic out there, it can produce hilarious and deadly results.

| I thought Flat Out happened in the shooting phase?

Yes, but tank shock happens when you are moving the vehicle, so you can declare a tank shock when you Flat Out. There is no word about Movement Phase.

| But it say that a veichle that had shocked cannot Flat-out later in the turn... so it is enought clear, but if literrally readed yes, you can. | |

| This was FAQed at some point but I may be recalling a 6th ed FAQ.
Ultimately though, Ramming and Tank shocking take place in the movement phase and not when flatting out as RCZ mentions.
That said - I have rammed things with a Shock prow from time to time. It's not something my opponents expect and can be pretty effective. However, I wouldn't do it competitively since Raiders usually don't last long enough. If I get within 12", my opponent usually destroyers it - making the upgrade a waste of points. That said though - Ramming IS unaffected by Jink :-)

| Incubi in venom Trueborn/Scourge squads + WWP archon + Blaster + Shadowfield. Any fortification with coms relay or an enslaved autarch if you feel like being baron Deepstrike both venom+incubi and squad+archon seperately Both drop in same turn (25/36 chance with coms relay) Unit blows up vehicle. Venom shoots at unit inside. Opponent's turn. Shoot at archon's unit, -He tanks all the shots with 2++ -He dies -He lives -Shadowfield Lost -Enemy trolled
Your turn : Venom unleashes hell again, incubi exits venom and charge
//////Alternate Scenario///// Enemy Shoots at Venom -Venom Dies -Incubi Walk out -3/4 chance not pinned -Enemy shoots at incubi -They Die -Enemy Trolled -Enemy shoots at archon -Incubi charges next turn Your turn Archon + his unit laughs and shoots again
Make sure suicidal archon is not your warlord. Even better if you can charge him into combat vs some random close combat IC if his Shadowfield is up to tarpit a little.
Don't do this vs full mech list for obvious reasons. This is by no means very practical, do it for a laugh when your archon tanks 20++ str 4 shots and lives without a scratch.

Yes, but tank shock happens when you are moving the vehicle, so you can declare a tank shock when you Flat Out. There is no word about Movement Phase. The rules for MOVING FLAT OUT clearly say "A Tank cannot move Flat Out in the same turn that it performs a Tank Shock."
