My first List (1850pts)

Hey guys im just starting dark eldar and im planning to build this list for a start before get allies and the likes.

CAD = 1850pts
Archon - Blaster, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Trueborn - 4 Blaster, splinter cannon, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Trueborn - 4 Blaster, splinter cannon, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Trueborn - 4 Blaster, splinter cannon, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Warriors - Blaster, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Warriors - Blaster, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Warriors - Blaster, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Warriors - Blaster, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Warriors - Blaster, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Warriors - Blaster, Venom(splinter cannon)
5 Scourges - 4 Haywire blasters
5 Scourges - 4 Haywire blasters
Razorwing - Dark lance, Night shield, splinter cannon

As you can see it is a venom/blaster spam list.
Any tips would be appreciated.

I like this list, its straightforward, fast, and has so many shots.

You could go the whole hog and drop the archon and get 2 Lhamaeans in venoms instead (getting the points from the archon, his blaster, night shields, splinter cannon off the razorwing) and upgrade a trueborn to a dracon and make him your warlord.

True but Lhamaeans are more for CC which doesnt really go with the list plus i dont really like the idea of having a non HQ Warlord.

The lhamaean isn't FOR anything. 1++ is treating it as straight up tax. They are getting 2 so they can have 2 more venoms. The venom is what is for something.

Very true. I just relaise i misunderstoud, i thought take a court of 2 lhamaean not take to courts.

What do you guys think about going up to 2 splinter cannons per trueborn?

Don't mix weapons on the true born squads. You will always waste a part of them

Always, but never with the dracon. If I ever take a dracon it's 4 blasters, otherwise it's 3 and 2 splinter cannons.

Here's my real question to you: What warlord trait are you fishing for?

What do you think is valuable enough that it's worth getting a dracon explictly and solely for? Were I you my warlord would be my razorwing and I'd have 3 blasters and 2 splinter cannons in each trueborn squad.

Everyone is going to disagree with me about sc's and say that you don't want to mix weapons with different intended targets, but I think that blasters specifically, and dark light broadly, is also a highly capable anti- meq/teq weapon.

The only warlord traits I would want is 2 or 6, and why make the razorwing warlord?

The razorwing warlord is purely to deny your opponent Slay the Warlord, since there are plenty of armies that'll struggle to take it out (although you lose out on a warlord trait then). Also the DE warlord traits are pretty bad for your list, Strategic is much better (Command is also probably better).

The last 4 games I've played I've only lost my Sybarite Warlord once. Razorwing won't allow a trait and you will have to ensure you don't have any other characters (Dracon) in the army

I'd dump the Razorwing for another unit of HayScourges.

If i was gonna drop anything it would be the Razorwing but a 3rd unit of Scourges seems like wasted points, heck i think 2 is pushing it because they are only good against tanks and if my opponent doesnt bring many they become useless.

What about Blaster in the scourges squad?
