Blood Bowl 5th with Dark Elves

Made my BB 5th board team look like my online team lol.

Kitbash and colors arent anything that hasn't been done before but it works. Wych lower, Kabalite upper, Wych arms w/cut-off weapons, Fantasy Dark Elf heads, misc parts, etc.





Played my first BB 5th League game starting with a brand new team (1M gp) versus Norse of all groups. Won 1:0 but had 7 players KO'ed, 2 Badly Injured and 1 Groin Sprain (miss next game). I had 1 player left on the field at the end of the game.

AWESOME! We play a Blood Bowl 7's league here. Won it last season using kitbashed Dark Elves from leftover Dark Eldar parts. I've been thinking of doing a segment on playing DE in Blood Bowl for Splintermind.

I haven't yet palyed a game with my DE team as they wait for paint. You can look them up on the Distractions part of the Workshop here on the forums

What rosters are you guys running?

Right now I have:
6 Lines
2 Blitz
1 Wych, 1 Assassin, 1 Runner

Not the most optimal. With the way I've been playing, I would have been served better with 6L, 3B, 2R but I wanted variety.

I'm going to have to build a Journeyman for Game 2 as one of my Linemen will still be injured.

I'll also probably build a Haemonculus as my Apothecary. Not sure what I'm going to do about Bloodweiser yet though, maybe a poor tortured soul on a rack for uh... nourishment.

I prefer to go four blitzers when playing versus the Wych/Assassin. The Witch Elf can be awesome if you can feed her a quick two touchdowns and have her skill up. Without Block she's a liability to the point that my last one dying was actually a relief that helped my TV!

The Assassin is pretty good if you have slow AG3 teams like humans trying to dodge out of their tackle zones to force possible additional Dodge rolls, and Stab is neat. Just not sold on them though.

The Runner is the business. If you can spring for two.....shenanigans I tell you. Shenanigans.

Thanks! Had to really make the bits stretch to make a team, even if only for a Sevens team!

I'm holding off converting an entire 16 team roster now that they're actually redoing the range. I'm basically buying each of the new teams as they are released and painting as the come out.

So I walked into a GW store randomly this past weekend for the first time since 5th ed.

Looks like I might be coming back to the evil empire a bit. Dwarves are calling my name.
