dark elves in a GT

Hi all, we have a GT here in feb for FB and whilst im not going (boo) a lot of the guys from my club are. its a 700 point doubles game no extra rules, myself and a friend have been asked to play some games using the GT as a basis so that the teams going can playtest.

its been such a long time since ive done an army for FB to compettion standard (late 80`s) so im in bad need of advice.

i have loads of models for dark elves and can field anything at this level of points.

i will be playing alongside goblins, for this reason im thinking they have numbers so i was thinking of a unit of dark riders, a war hydra and unit of cold ones.

alternative list could have dark riders, large unit of warriors, war hydra, chariot.

i was thinking of a master to lead both armies.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Shades are good, I suggest try them. My experience in Dark Elfs is mostly on what I have learned from my opponent, though
Executioners are awesome, as well.

this is how Dark Elves work in fantasy.

Sac dagger... reverse ward save lord... hydra... hydra... crossbowmen... Did I mention Hydras???

seriously though, Dark Elves are one of the most powerful books in fantasy right now, I would try some of their dedicated forums for help, but they can build a ton of nasty lists with them.

Never seen a hydra in action...
Uhm, not that my horrible-morale skaven want to see one.
