Yes you can replace the lm with their counterparts in any spot in the detachment. So inriam spectre can go wherever it saydls adeathjester goes.

It does specify formation, not detachment so RAW I'd have to say you can't include the spectre in a detachment that is not a formation.

Actually Count that is correct. I never noticed it before but it is only formations. While BattleSCribe will let you do it I don't think its allowed RAW as the Count has suggested. I actually had to go back and re-read that one. I have done this a lot and no one has called me on it.
I will fix my error in the future.
