| I have a feeling Dark Eldar will be left out of the first Fall of Cadia suppliment/campaign book, but will appear in a second book. | |

It's a new game. Do you not like games? I wanna clarify this, for the people disappointed that Gangs isn't a release with 40k rules, because I don't want to seem like I'm arguing with your opinion. I've always been a bit baffled by the I-will-play-this-game-and-no-others attitude that many people have. Logically it doesn't make sense to me - if you enjoy one game, then isn't it reasonable that you might also enjoy other games? - and it can be frustrating for me when I'm excited about a game and other players are dismissive of it because it is not their One Game. But I don't need to understand your lack of interest for your perspective to be valid, and I'm not trying to prove you wrong, or convince you that you're actually interested in something that you're not. I'm just confused, and, I guess, disappointed that you're disappointed. Anyway. The last rumor I saw, which was not from a known/reliable source (salt!), was this: - Quote :
- "Gang of Commorragh only includes a gang of reavers of commorragh (3) & gang of feral hellions (5), 2 ruler, pack of dice, 3 spike of commorragh (little 3d carton scenery like towers), pack of cards and 48 page rulebook.
The box size is small like lost patrol." So, if true, not quite Necromunda or Gorkamorka, which isn't really surprising. On the other hand, if the rulebook is 48 pages, that would imply that game wasn't just an afterthought stuck in a box of repackaged models. That doesn't mean it will be good, of course, just that somebody spent some time working on it.

| Probably wont have big discount, since its only 8 models.
Basically - for any DE player - do i want another 3 reavers? Do i need 5 hellions just to paint them? If yes - then can buy.
Judging by the size - it wont have 40k rules.

| I think this boxed game is going to be a buy for me. I am just starting to add Reavers to my army and I love the look of the Hellions. While I don't put them on the table very often, I absolutely loved painting the 5 that I have. | |

| 3 Reavers cost £24 BNIB, the full game would need to be very close to that for significant interest from the DE playerbase you'd imagine. | |

| If it is close to the cost of 3 reavers, I'll buy it just to support the idea of more DE stuff being made, despite having 24 reavers already. In such a case, I might try playing the game, if I can find anyone to play it. | |

| Hey, I am excited! When was the last time the DE featured in a boxed game? 3rd edition? Hopefully the game can be expanded to field BIG teams because I've got 24 reavers getting the touch up for table-top action!
Keep pushng and supporting and maybe, just maybe, we'll get a jetbike/skyboard capable character (whoa now I'm being totally audacious and optimistic).

| I think that's what irked me about it. Sure, the red figure could be anything and the true kin look out of place next to Black Templars and all that but, then BLAM... Necrons.
Here's to hoping that the terrain looks good.

Use them as conversion fodder or they can be the start of a Corsair allied detachment.

| That's what I'll be buying it for Reavers either as-is or to kitbash with Windriders to make Corsair Cloud Dancers, and Hellion torsos work really nicely for exodites | |

| If I am not mistaken... the story rumourmill placed the DE at the end of the Fall of Cadia, so expecting them in the first book was mit premature I think. | |

| I just read this entire thread in one go. Every post. It's been a journey. There were times when I laughed out loud due to people trying to get the thread back on track. Anyhow I hope this box sells well based on its sheer cool-factor alone, which then shows interest in the Dark Eldar and gives us a little love from the men in ties. If it is true that Spess Muhreens get good-rules-love because the models sell well I would love for Dark Eldar to start selling well. | |

| They've just revealed what's in the box: 6 Reavers, 10 Hellions.
Even though 6 Reavers alone cost £48 from GW, I can't imagine many people paying around £50 (never mind more than that) for this game, despite the effectively free Hellions that would mean.

| 6 Reavers Well. assuming its near the cost of the Reavers along I am totally getting it. Hellions suck, but will rock for conversions, and the spires look nice | |

| Terrain looks too small to use in a 40k game, but it can be used for something else other then cover, obj markers maybe. Now we wait to know the price. | |

I was thinking about the tray I use before I field the army.

This actually wouldn't surprise me. Allegedly, GW's partnership with FFG ended due to FFG refusing to acquiesce to GW's demand to stop producing X-Wing, with FFG's reason being that X-Wing outsells all of FFG's other products and GW's combined. I can see GW naively trying to claim a piece of that pie.
