Triumvirate Rule Leak

Saint Celestine is a bullet magnet, I wouldn't waste the points shooting her just so she can get back up. Tie her in combat and kill everything else.

Edit: looking over her rules, s3 t3 w5, she has no instant death or anything so yeah lock her in combat and go to town on everything else

Cawl has no eternal warrior, flesh guantlets do instant death.

Greyfax is as easy to kill as a sister

My understanding (which may be wrong) was that part of the Triumvirate was that you could mix/match imperial armies togeather (for added Deathstar fun killing), so he MAY be able to get in a drop pod. Just saying.

It takes 126 poison shots (ie, 10.5 Venoms or 682.5 points) to take out Celestine and her Geminae. If she passes a Ld test (Ld10) she comes back on full wounds and can immediately resurrect one of her Geminae and both then act normally. That's pretty bloody good for 200 points!

Yep celestine is an absolute tank, so is cawl.
DE do not currently have the firepower to realistically target either with shooting.

How many poison shots to kill cawl with poison? Or with lances with his 5++ and 5+ FNP reroll?
I read some where he could boost his FNP to 4+???

I've not seen the full rules for Cawl yet but I know he's T6, 5W (and he regenerates D3 every turn), 2+/5++, FNP (rerollable). So it's going to be pretty tough to take him out, especially with that regeneration.

Do we even have the tools to deal with him in CC? I am thinking Grots for the ID, but we would still need to get through the 2+ save...

Taloi with Ichor Injectors? I4 so striking first, 4+ to hit, 2+ to wound , AP2, ID on 6. Of course, a single Talos is 130 points so clearly Cawl is correctly costed...
