Hi guys, apologies if this is in the wrong section, or if there's some protocol I'm missing when it comes to making posts, but I was wondering if someone could help with a question I had about our elder triumvirate.
Namely, when it comes to each of the triumverate's unique wound regen rule, i.e the "Whenever an Aeldari model dies within 7" of [owing model] roll a dice, on the roll of a 3/4+ the model regains a wound lost earlier in the battle" one. My question is, how many dice are rolled when multiple models are killed? For example, 10 tactical marines shoot at 10 kabalites, killing, say, 5.
Will the triumverate member roll one single dice for having a model within 7" die heedless of the number killed, or 5, One for each kabalite?.
Likewise, when is this rule activated, the usage of "whenever" seems to imply multiple activations within a single turn or phase, if it were say a combat, will I get a roll (or multiple) per inititiative step in which a model is killed, or is this roll (or rolls) done for at the end of the combat. If 5 kabalites die at initiative 4, is that 5 dice or 1? And again, are these rolled for as each step comes, or at the end of the phase/fight sub phase? Furthermore, if it is a case that you roll at each step in which an aeldari model is killed, how does this translate to ranged attacks consisting of several "pools" of different wounds, if a meltagun kills a kabalite, and then 5 bolters kill 1 more, is this rolled as each wound pool is resolved (i.e one dice for the meltagun, then one dice for the bolter) or is it just one dice for both at the end of the shooting attack, or one dice for each model killed at the end of the shooting attack.
Apologies if my phrasing is confusing or scatterbrained, I'm not the best person when it comes to putting my thoughts into a coherent format. It just seems a very poorly written rule, and I think I'm reading far too much into it.
