Hello! I just posted this on Dakka, but I figured I'd gather some Drukhari generals' insights as well!
I'm looking for feedback on my main list. So far i'm 3/0 with victories over death guard, alpha legion, and the new blood angels. None were overwhelming victories, however, I felt very confident in the army synergy. I plan on taking this to an upcoming tournament so would love to hear your thoughts on its overall TAC viability.
Here's a brief rundown:
I decided against equipping the harlequins with fusion pistols for several reasons; their purpose is melee and maneuverability so not being able to utilize rising crescendo is a major hinderance. Now that we have an additional strategem which takes effect after advancing, I prefer to not waste points on things can't be used in conjunction with this. I filled my anti-tank elsewhere. With the updates in chapter approved, I believe harlequin's kisses are now more than viable when equipped on troupe masters - I took 3. Their role beyond supporting troupes is character assassination.
The Dark Eldar are my anti-tank. Self explanatory with the dark lance equipped Ravagers and Jet. At first I thought the barebones Archon would be a tax, but honestly he has been a hero in all three games. He is always deployed last so that I can figure out his role based on enemy units and deployment. I default him within the Farseer/Guardian bubble to provide a counter charge threat. However, if I find that there is a juicy target susceptible of being tied up, I will spend a command point to solo deep strike him and wait for the turn 2 re-rolling charge. If it works out great, if not, w/e, I like seeing how long I can keep his shadowfield up.
Ulthwe comes in with the versatility of the army. I like Dark Reapers in their minimum squad sizes so I don't have to worry too much about keeping them screened. If a unit gets wiped out it won't be the end of the world. My warlord is the Farseer and I protect him (myself fluffy fluffy) with a guardian blob. I spend most of my command points on this unit to make them tough as rocks. With the exception of Reapers who deploy out of sight turn 1, the rest of my army is mechanized, so any anti-infantry weapons will only have this unit as an option to shoot.
