1500 pts, Semi-competitive, "Something New"

Hi all,
Been playing around with a 'curveball' list to use in a semi-competitive environment. Usually run a full mounted, shooting focused army with some hard-hitters in CC.
Putting together a list that can be effective, surprise people, and flexible enough to handle most missions.
It's a bit different then I'm used to, so need likely even basic C&C.

Vexator Mask is great if your willing to spend the CP to take the extra artifact. It can swing close combat for you without any point cost. Might even make it back with diabolical soothsayer.

Since you used battlescribe, instead of giving one reaver a specialweapon Battlescribe adds one reaver. So you now have 2x 4 reavers instead of 2x 3 reavers. Unless you want it to be like this ofc.

Thanks both. Actually did intend 2x4 - for several reasons: I own 8, 2x3 seemed very overwatch susceptible when trying to get T1 charges, and I cant take 3x3 in a patrol detachment. Of course if this is a miscalculation and points are better spent elsewhere, please let me know.

As far as vexator - I was going back and forth b/n vexator and spite, but went with spite in part b/c I'm more familiar with it. That being said, I played 4 editions where our best anti-psyker was killing them first, so could go back to that. Worried about 5 + D3 CP. Especially when opponents are sitting with 10 most of the time.

Again, if you think it's worth both or a flip, I'm interested in hearing.
