| 1500, 1750 or 2000 I've recently reverted back to 1500 games from 2000 and I like it a bit more. More guile, less anti-tank spam. | |

| My army is not big enough yet to play games at 1,5k or 2k, but I have to admit that small scale games like 1k are a bit limiting. I found them a lot more challenging as you can't get everything you want, but it also makes some of our DE specific tactics a lot harder. If you can't afford more targets then your aim of putting so many targets up their face that they don't know what to shoot first becomes harder to achieve.
my 2 cents | |

| I play all over the place so I can practice different tactics at different levels. Playing at 1000 give me a chance to examine tactics and units more closely then at 2000+ games. Also limiting myself lets me practice with certain units so when I use them at higher levels I can position them better. My thoughts at least. | |

| Basically, I mimic Vaulkhere's views. I'd even say 750 helps me out as well.
The smaller points also helps me figure out whether or not I even like the Army I just purchased!

| I really enjoy 1500pt games. It gives you a chance to field enough core choices with a few Neat-o units to have some fun. Though the occasional 1750-2250 game is fun for breaking out the fun Big Boy units (Grots, etc) An old friend and I are playing a game on the 17th for the first time in almost 20 years. We picked 1750 so that we can add a fun unit or two while keeping the game manageable. | |

| I usually play 1500. Pretty much the only time I play smaller or larger games is in tournaments or other places where the point size is pre-set and I have no control over it. | |

| 1500 and 2000 pts. I find that less and i start to loose alot of what provides synergy in my army, and more just gets tiring. | |

| I usually play on the 1500 point range, as it is a good balance of both with most armies and the game length. Our store also has a fondness for running 2v2 matches, 1500 points per player. Long, but really good fun.
Lower point games seem to favor certain armies over others, so I rarely play at 1000 or 500 points.

| I'm a 1500pt fiend. I love how it forces you to craft elegant lists that inhabit the field like duelling mantises. | |

| I like 1,500 as well. I think that it is a good points value because you have to make some hard choices point wise as to what you want to include / exclude. It is also a points value that you can play quickly no matter what type of army you want to field.
For the horde type players out there, it also allows a horde to be played, and have a decent chance at finishing the game in a couple of hours.

| 1750pts is where I play my best, won every match at that point level so far. I do good in 1500 and 2000pts aswell. | |

| I like 2000 point games. I'm not sure exactly why... I just prefer them. | |

| I prefer 2000 point games because it allows me to best utilize the codex and run any list I want. I won't even try a WWP or Deep Strike list under 2k. I'm just not comfortable in doing so. | |

| I'm rather happy playing at 1750pts. I'd like to try 2k and I have ideas of what I'd add and replace.
I'll bide my time until 6th for now with regards to points as I think the new edition will change armies and points for everyone.

| It seems that DEldar are one of those armies that benefit from smaller numbers, less tanks and heavy weapons | |

| 1500 is about the best points level for all armies and find that when i build lists at >1750 it becomes a little bit too easy | |

| I am most comfortable playing 1750 pts games. 1500 I could manage to a degree, but I feel that it lacks character at times, while for the 2000 pts games I feel that it tends to get rather spammy for my own good.
1750 is big enough, but allow for a lot more skills of generalship to be practiced.

| Seeing as some armies are utterly broken on small points, I like 1500-2000 point battles with 2k as fav.
I make most of my lists for 2k actually since it's easy to downgrade them without serious overhaul.

| 2k for me, seems to be the local norm at the moment. Not really crazy about lower either, it probably because I like to use the portals. | |

| 1500 and 1750. Quick on the play, yet enough breathing room to experiment. | |

| I prefer 2000. I just feel that the entire game dosent hinge on a couple dice rolls. In the larger games you can have layers of redundancy that you just cant have in the lower points levels so an unlucky roll or 2 can completely cost you the game. | |
