Nico's Wych Cult - Finally back!

Hi everybody!

Since I'm new here, I'll briefly introduce myself.
I'm Nico, a 24 year old guy from Belgium and I just started collecting Dark Eldar after years of playing with the Emperor's Finest.

Last saturday, I got myself the Megaforce and I already painted my first Wych.

VERY nice! I'm looking forward to more of your stuff. It looks like the casing is a metal color, no?

The casing on the gun is lightgrey with badab black over it.
I didn't want too much metalics on the gun but I didn't think about the yellow.
I think I might give that a try on the next model!

I like the suggestion about putting some of the yellow on the pistol. You may also consider putting a body part in the lovely pool of blood you put on the base.

The yellow looks great.

I agree with the yellow on the pistol. it would tie the model together instead of having them compete for the eyes attention.

The next wych is beiing painted as we speak (I'm doing them 1 by 1 since I don't get to paint that often)

For the moment, I have assembled 30 wyches, 1 raider, a succubus & 3 jetbikes.

Anybody an idea about which color to use on the Agoniser?

Looking very nice Nico. Love the contrast of the bright yellow and darker body suit. As for the Agoniser I'd be tempted to try and carry the blue from the hair through into it.

I'd go for the same or similar blue.
Perhaps even white, shaded towards that same blue.

No painting for me today (I only paint during my lunchbreaks at work for the moment) although I managed to put my first venom togheter (exept for the crew) which I magnetised so I could swap the underslung weapons:)

(The Raider has only been sprayed black, the hull isn't glued on yet but is held in place with a rubber band:p)

Monday I will glue the ravager and hopefully paint something...

From a "soccer"-point of few i can support your colourscheme with full heart.

From a tabletop-nerd-point of few, i can aplaude you for it, too.
The contrast work really good! I would think about adding a little more yellow areas to the jetbike though.

The colour scheme looks really good on the jetbike. I agree with people above, the pistol would be better matching the armour, better balance that way.

Wyches look really good. I prefer the first pistol colour.
Blue for the agoniser would be my choice.

I tried out the yellow on the blast pistol of my helatrix and I think it works better than the color on my first wych.
I'm sticking to the yellow from now on and I'll repaint the first on when I'm in the mood:)
Concerning the reaver, I don't want to overdo the yellow, I think I'll keep it like this for the time beiing although the next one is going to be somewhat different (I'm aiming on making all the reavers look different)

By the way, I plan on making an all female Cult as soon as I have enough models to do so;)
So from now on I'm sticking to female models when painting

Didn't have the time to take a decent picture of the hekatrix yet...

For the moment I'm in doubt whether to leave the bases as they are right now (redish earth) or make them snowy...
What do you guys think?

Thx to some xmas presents, my army became a little larger
A brand new Cronos, Raider and Ravager are awaiting their turn to get build and painted!

While I was painting tonight, I tried out the snow base.
Here's a pic of the "martian dust" base and the try-out for the snow base.
