Edit: now that i think of it does this not go completely against Aeldari lore, arent they supposed to be tall and slender, i have never seen any picture or notion of them being bulky hulk muscle tanks, i mean this thing looks like it can grab a space marine and chew it in half...

It actually looks ok here and im convinced that part of her bulky image is becasue of the paint job, the other wyches look like bodybuilders as well, while the way i paint them they look much more slender...

the only thing off here as well are the feet they look huge to me but im going to build her with boots anyway i hate the barefoot style

Im curious for her rules aswell i hope she gets Drazahr level treatment lol

"Oh no Lelith's gonna get a pair of pants because the SJWs" was this weird storm in a teacup on this forum when all we had was a picture of her butt, but I couldn't care less about the loss of the Tactical Battle Thong. I also don't care that her physique appears to be decidedly of the, let's say, TLOU2 Abby proportions. So the gladiator queen has some size and muscles, I can live with that. The new pose isn't really inspirational to me, but at least it doesn't look like she's trying to take an enormous crap mid-fight like the last one. I know a couple people who have responded to the model with "step on me mommy", so I guess it's still good for the fetishists. Just, y'know, different fetishists. Whatever, let some other people get catered to for a bit, I dare say there are enough waif-thin bikini elves as it is.
The face is really the big reason I don't think I like the model. Never been big on the bestial snarling faces for dark eldar, always preferred amusement or calm detachment. Oh well.

Ultimately I don't care much about the box set. I have more wyches than I know what to do with from back in 5e, and I've been meaning to convert my own Lelith expy for ages anyway, for when I get back into full-scale 40k instead of KT. Probably using the Daughters of Khaine; who are incidentally your one-stop-shop for all your slutty bikini elf needs if Lelith's pants are a problem for you. I'm thinking either one of the shrinekeepers on the cauldron of blood, or one of the khinerai.

If Wyches and Scourges are fun to play with the new Codex, I'll get the box. I only have 15 and 5 of them, but at the same time I already have 4 Venoms... It will depend on the rules for me.

Yeah, i'll just use the old model still, she is about 15% bigger, so not much, only on a 32mm easy to fix.

What I do not like about her new model

1) Feet are off, the arch is more of a fat role and the toes do not look good at all
2) Her bicep/arm is just off as well, no real muscle definition, nothing to tell she fits her abs
3) Her face has lots of little things that looks off (and its not the paint job, its the proportions and placement, the nose, the eyes, ears, etc..)
4) She looks thick, which in general is not bad at all, but it doesn't fit her at all, her lore, her style, etc.. for a new Wych hero it would have been cool, a larger, stronger Succubus.
5) Her chest (chest bone) is way off, way to large and sticking out for a rib cage and not muscles/pectorals.

I will get her b.c I will get the box as i also play SoB, but she will not be played as Lelith and instead as a Crusade Succubus that will always take Strength Drug.

I wasn't talking about features, but general size.

She looks pretty much in line with the other Wyches of the box. Bigger feet? Maybe. I'll wait until I see the actual model from a different perspective to decide if I get her or not.

We knew the new model release for Drukhari this year was disappointingly was only going to be Lelith, the fact that the new Lelith model is disappointing is just the cherry on the cake.

While the GW design/sculpting teams have got marine models down to a fine art through much practice, the quality of the Necron releases did leave me to expect that, at least, our single model release would be given the same due care and attention to ensure the model fits its theme and lore though it seems this is not the case.

This last point maybe resolved in the new codex; if Lelith's lore is changed/upgraded to a supreme commander she may need those muscles to carry the Drukhari through the 9th ed competitive scene for the next few years.

If you prefer the old Lelith now is the time to go snap up what's left of the stock.

The real unfortunate part of this will be that this box with the disappointing Lelith model (and odd Drukhari unit selection) will, unlike indomitus, undersell as Drukhari players will be less incentivised to buy it. The self fulfilling prophecy that Drukhari don't sell will be reinforced and so less effort will be put into models in the future. I can't see this release boasting the uptake of Drukhari to new/ existing players.

I suppose the silver lining is that GW always gets one part of Eldar lore right....we certainly are a dying race. (Player base)

For a game.perspective, I'm not expecting new models at all.
We have a lot.of datasheets already, we just need some restock (plastick over resin) and a good set of rules making (nearly) every units valuable. I'm in hype for the rules!

For Vect and other Characters, I feel they will be something for new campaign more than for the Codex itself.

Yep, Vect would be amazing....but something says to me that he will not coming out with the Codex. Because we have to suffer, of course.

You have a "Bikini warrior" that is renowned for beauty and skill and a lot of people will be unhappy with her being said beautyful bikini warrior. You can't change her to a paladin of course so why not just go nuts with even less armour?

Very much this ^^. The box has models that every existing DE player already owns and probably doesn't need more of. A new DE player might want the box but unless the new codex drastically improves Wych Cults they're going to be disappointed. The only saving grace for the box could have been a new Lelith model but sadly they seem to have blown that by producing what I think is their worst new model (in any range) for many years.

Its saving grace is the Palatine for SoB, its a S tier unit that most SoB players want. Finding any DE player to go 1/2  will be worth it for some players.

PS for those that don't know, its a Lieutenant for Sisters. The Meta for sisters is already heavy on Celestains, Dominions, and Rets for shooting, which will either be very tanky or +1 to hits, having re-roll 1's to hits (or all hits if Celestains) and now rr 1's to wounds, its a magical hero for them b.c now they can spend MD for damage rolls instead of hits/wound rolls.

True, today I went to my LGS to buy some paint, and I already have 3 players wanting to split the box with me. I don't have any Lelith model, and I only own 10 wyches and 5 scourges, so for 60-70 eur (I guess) it's going to be worth for me.

Yeah. Scourges are already at 15-16 eur on Ebay, same as Venoms. But at the same time both are so great models that every DE player has a ton of them
