1850 All Comer's List

First off I want to say that I have played 40k before, but dropped out of the scene and have only recently worked my way back in with the re-make of DE. With that, I am hoping for as much feedback as possible...do not pull punches and make as many comments as you can. This is my 1850 All Comer's List that I am attempting to play at my local Hobby Shop come next weekend.

Why don't you give the wracks a venom with splintercannon?

Not sure about the splinter rack on the raider your still hitting on 3's is it imperative that your warriors get those 2 extra hits?

Not sure if you need both Nightshields and Flickerfields on the Ravagers

Use the spare points to get another haemonculus maybe and stick it with the wyches for FNP?

Otherwise seems pretty solid.

I have found that Nightshields and Flickerfields work well with Ravagers. It gives them a good amount of sustain against meltas, making sure they get right in my face. I will try a couple games without them to see how I feel. I took some of your suggestions and modified the list to be as such. I made the Wyches transports have a little more utility, took the venom for wracks for more AT, and the 2nd Homun to give both my CC squads FnP with the addition to another flamers template. Let me know what you guys think.

EDIT1: Forgot to mention that I had to drop 1 blasterborn from 2 squads in order to fit the point costs.

HQ: Both are good. You might want to drop the shattershard for a liqufier so that you can use it multiple times from your raider (remember not to get them out unless you absolutely have too)

Elites: Fine. Just remember the one with more Blasterborn is always going to be the first target for your opponents. Use that to your advantage.

Troops: Good. The problem I have is that you dont have alot of them. The more troops the better since troops are what captures objectives now. You might be hard pressed to hold objectives, but go ahead and try it out and see if you need more.

Also I find that putting too many upgrades on raiders is a waste of points. Outside of Flickerfields and maybe Nightshields and Shock Prows everything else is kinda iffy on a AV 10 death coffin.

FA: Good choice. Use them well.

HS: Good, but I find that Ravagers really dont need NS to live. They shouldnt be in melta range by a long shot, and everything that would be targeting them normally has a 48~36" range anyway. If I was you I would move these NS to the Blasterborn venoms instead.

The problem that I am having is that I am just trying to fill points, if I take away the torment grenade launchers, grisly tal, and downgrade to a liquifier I am only opening up 15 points. I do not know where else to put them lol.

As for troops I thought that 3 full squads and 1 reserve was suitable; but I will play test it and see how it works. What would you reccomend? Another full squad of warriors? Or maybe a 1/2 squad of Warriors in a Venom?

Also I will move the nightshields from the ravagers to the venom's. If I decide that they don't need it I may be able to get that 1/2 man warrior squad in there as well.

EDIT1: So I dropped the nightshields and the extra wg on the raiders. Also dropped the shattershard to a liquifier and the last 4 man squad of blasterborn to a 3 man squad. I was able to add in 6 wracks and an Acothyst. In your guys opinions is this worth it?
