I really like your black and yellow colour scheme, it is superb on your Sybarite and certainly looks impressive matched with the bright scales of your Sslyth.

Thanks guys, put a lot of effort into the Sslyth scales and research into the colour scheme. It's somewhat time intensive though so i thought I'd give myself a break and do something different today, hence some more WIP pictures for you of my elites units.

Can't believe it's nine months since I last posted anything here! Painting hiatus was twofold, partly due to me finally starting work on my blood angels successors, and mainly due to my first trueborn arriving. Rest assured she's in wych training camp already, got the punch across daddy's nose down to a fine art and the kicks are coming along pretty well too.

Pics will be incoming soon, I'm working on my first ravager at the moment., plus I will have updates on warriors, a raider and a venom.

Ok, so with the new codex I went with a radical(ish) re-think of my colour scheme.

Here are the first new fruits of my labours.

Looking really nice with the new color scheme, may I recommend throwing in some blue to work as a nice contrast to the red, possibly on the helmets or sail? Still, looks great.

Cheers! I'm right there with you on the blue, you can't see it on that photo, but when I get round to doing close ups of the warriors all the helmet crests and eye slits/lenses are pale blue, as are the recessed parts of the weapons. My scourges and hellions (not that the hellions are likely to see much table time now) also have substantial blue elements to them

I really like your new colour scheme. The red works nicely with the black to make a very menacing scheme. Love the freehand symbols you are painting on all your vehicles.
