Old ravager dark lance question

I was wondering if anyone has had experience converting the disintegrator/splinter cannons on the old ravagers into dark lances. I recently picked up a couple of the old models (Yay rummage sales!) and was wondering if plasticarding the old guns is even worth it or necessary. Has anyone tried this?

Actually, those "Splinter Cannons" are Lances

They just look similar.



Here on infantry just to show how similar they look, shoulder mounted are Lances.

Actually if You can then use old Dissies as new Lances and old Lances as Splinter Cannons for Vypers conversion.

^Yup^ They are indeed Dark lances. Desintigrators would be tricky at best to convert though...

I wouldn't touch them. With "lascannon" muzzle they look more like AT than actual lances....

they do look similar, but then again after playing orkses for so long anything that sleek and pointy looks like something to impale and roast a squig with.... I do agree though, the old dissies do look very AT. Maybe I can sub them for blasters.... Thanks guys!
