Raging Heroes Bloodbrides/Wyches Substitute PRE-ORDER NOW OPEN 8/17/12

Raging Heroes just dropped this news yesterday and today. I am really excited to get my hands on these and do some kit bashing! I love pretty much everything they produce, even if it doesn't apply to our beloved cults, kabals, and covens. The Sci-Fi Ashara is what I use for Lady Malys and the model is absolutely amazing. The twin sister slaves, Eleriel & Alaniel make for a great objective marker. And lets face it, their cyberwolves for Space Wolf players are FAR SUPERIOR to GW!

Yeah, these are definitely on the radar now. While I dont run Bloodbrides, they will make awesome hekatrix for my wych squads. Sweet.

Yes, based on their earlier Asharah, these should be amazing! I will be watching this release with great interest.

Raging Heroes, you are my hero. Thank you for yet another beautiful sculpt. Cant wait to get these and add them to the Asharah I already have.

Wait, you mean they did Wyches dressed in skimpy outfits like the old Wyches and not like the new barely showing skin wyches?

I really like the look of these, I'm still very pro GW only though so shall have to see.

@Sky - have you seen any of RH's other stuff? They produce awesome models. Now, admitadly these appear to be fantasy themed, but with some very minor modding they will make excellent Wyches.

That's why we should all post on their blog that we'd like to see sci-fi versions. The name blood vestals has me convinced that they are doing this for Dark Eldar players, but I could be wrong. To be vestal is to be pure, as brides traditionally used to be, hence bloodbrides. Call it a hunch, but I think they are filling a need with this one, much like they were with the cyber wolves. GW rushed their version out just before the release of RH and probably hurt their sales. Perhaps this is RH's way of saying fah q to GW? Lets hope so!!

I do suggest that everyone here goes over to the blog post regarding the blood vestals and strong suggests that they do a sci-fi version if they haven't already.

Once it comes back from the painter I'll post up pics of my Asharah for ya Sky. They make really sweet looking models.

Oh, I'm not denying that they are really nice models and that Asharah is lovely.

I'm just very old fashioned, I play some of my games at home or at a friends, some at clubs but then the others (60%+) at GW stores and GW run tournaments - I don't want to spend time assembling and painting something that is a pivotal part of my list that I would have to remove for most of my games.

Perhaps - but two things.

1. I see no splinter pistols or Wych Weapons.
2. Dark Elf Fantasy Witches are known also as the Brides of Khaine (the God of Blood and Murder) So, I agree with you about the bride thing, I just don't think it means what you think it means.

I've decided after looking at them again that I will be picking up Eleriel & Alaniel, they will make a really nice objective marker for use outside of GW places

I dont get the big cloth thing ? the girls are amazing, really nice , the thing above them is rubbish and I can't work out what it is supposed to be ...

the blood vestals are more than likely going to be for fantasy first. as that is raging heroes mo. they will maybe port them to scifi if the demand is high enough.

and it wouldnt be too hard to put a pistol on a hip here and there and call it wysiwyg.

It's a banner/flag deal. Some alternate paint schemes make it look less ridiculous - seeing it from the back also helps.

First close up image of the fantasy version. They said they are going to do sci-fi and need to get some feedback. They will post a survey pertaining to weapon selection for the sci-fi version so be sure to head over to their blog when the time comes.

Do keep us posted on this. That lady looks mighty fine, if a little too light on clothing for my tastes.

Those look awesome, cant wait to see the Sci-fi ones. Nudity can be easily covered up with a greenstuff bikini
