Raging Heroes Bloodbrides/Wyches Substitute PRE-ORDER NOW OPEN 8/17/12

Face look so damn suitable for Lady Malys.

I was a little worried this would be the case , but the hopefully it's only the picture making them look a bit fleshy ....

Does look like it might be good, I'll hold off on jugement till I have them in hand.

I'll 'yar' with Sorrowshard. I doth enjoy metal bikinis, but I do want there to be a metal bikini.

Oh, I meant they might look a little chunky, especially next to the placcy wyches, I dont mind the boobies.

I think I may get rid of the swords, a bit too oversize and chunky for my tastes.

Dont forget that is the fantasy range. the SciFI range is being worked on and they are taking suggestions on their blog.

Green stuff nipple tassels anyone?

I'd swap out the weapons too, but these make great Hekatrix.

So months ago some of you might remember when I posted a thread about Raging Heroes miniatures making figures for what turned out to be geared towards Dark Elf fantasy players.

Well, my fellow archons, it's our turn now!

Raging Heroes is now taking a survey as to what we're looking for in a blood bride unit. Please, even if you're not going to purchase them head over and vote so that these figures will be geared towards DE.

I was filling out the survey and there are images now! OMG 6th Ed and these bloodbrides, I think my brain is going to explode!!!

Are these tournament legit?

Since GW no longer sponsors tournaments, most tournaments seem to have no problems with figures made by other manufactorers.

Personally, I don't like Mantic and the likes since they often feel like cheap knockoffs, but these models are absolutely stunning.

It could be just the Duke in me talking but I love their shoes. Drill out the heel a little, put barbs on the spike. Could be....fun.

Please, those of you that frequent other forums spread the word on this. I really want them to get a great deal of feedback from this. I can't tell you how awesome it is that a miniature company actually listens to their customer base. GW just crams crap down our throats and doesn't care about what we want. That and they make some of the ugliest female sculpts I've ever seen. I mean, the faces on our wyches were so bad I put all masks on 40 of them! LOL

Aaww... You beat me to it.

Awesome stuff though. Can't wait to mix them in with my other Wyches. I hope when I paint them with my army's colors the difference is not too great though. Else it'll look a bit silly I think.

IMHO these poses are far more dynamic than the 'fantasy' blood vestal ones. So I'm very pleased.

Another update. Looks like they will be fully revealed (no pun intended) by Thursday! Oh what a glorious day, these new models and the custom dice should arrive!

These are exceptional. im still using my first wyches ive ever painted, back then nobody told me to "Thin your paint" and they ended up bad. But these are magnificent and i must have them.

2 questions.

1: Would it be hard to greenstuff on a bra or something to cover up her extremities? Not that i dont like them but as im 13 my parents, let alone the store may disapprove.

2: Would the local gamesworkshop let me use these models in my dark eldar army because there not gamesworkshop stuff? Should i ask in advance?

God I'm beginning to like them even more.

Covering up their breasts wouldn't be too hard, did they not mention they were giving additional armour plates for that?

GW's generally don't let you use non GW stuff, so that's a no for that. It's fair enough though, McDonalds would get pretty iffy if you walked in, sat down to eat a Whopper and showed everyone how much better, sexier and well made it was.

My GW store follows the 50% rule; I remember asking about that when my step-daughter wanted to make a small SW army with My Little Ponies proxying as Fenrisian Wolves.

They look cracking, but at about 50€ a unit I have to think twice.

Let me think about it...

10 times better than GW!

These are great, now all they need to do is to have the scuplts flexable enough to be able to fit them on Jetbikes and Skyboards
