600pt list

Very new to warhammer and loving the dark eldar!

here the 600pt list i played with at the weekend, not very anti vehicle but i did table the eldar force i was up against.

HQ - Baron 105 pts

Troop - 8 Hellions 128 pts

Troop - 10 wyches +1 razor flails, +1 Hydra gauntlets 120 pts

W/raider with advanced Aethersails and flicker field 75 pts

Troop - 8 Kabalite Warriors 72 pts

Heavy support - Talos Pain Engine 100 pts

Finding with the smaller army sizes upgrade are a waste as they eat up your points.

Any comments and suggestions would be good

I would get a haemie with wwp in order to make your talos effective, speed forward and drop it. Have the baron and hellions and talos come out in front of their army. With that in mind, you can have the raider for the troops instead. Drop the aethersails to help make up for the points.

01 Haemonculus - Liquifier Gun = 60

03 Wracks - Venom - Dual Splinter Cannons = 95
03 Wracks - Raider - Flickerfield = 100

08 Hellions = 128

01 Ravager = 105

Total = 593

Gives you AI and AT both at range and combat (potentially with Furious Charge Hellions, there is another part of the forum to explain how that can happen as early as turn 1). The remaining 7 points could go to giving the Haemonculus a Venom Blade or giving the Raider a Shock Prow.

If you wanted to keep the Talos in your own list however I would drop the Enchanted Aethersails and 3 Kabalite Warriors and give those Warriors a Blaster, and give the Talos a Twin-Linked Haywire Blaster and Chainflails which gives both your Warriors and Talos more bite and the ability to effect Tanks.
